    Only problem with style of speaker is extremely poor "stereo" effect, since the left and right are coming from a single, central location. So, for all intents and purposes it might as well be mono.

    A very good price for this particular speaker dock.

    HOWEVER, before buying, I would suggest dropping by a DSE or Harvey Norman store try one out. Looks impressive but feels cheaply-built and the sound quality is VERY ordinary… and I'm certainly no audiophile.

      No. Definitely NOT the same unit. Different brand. Different speaker drivers etc etc

    was better at Target for 99 although may have been the icoustic as oppose to teac although no difference.

    lol. I'd say that Teac are known for their relatively poor audio quality. Definitely worth trying before buying.

      True but only really here. When I was in Japan I saw some pretty decent and well made Teac equipment. They just don't sell it here for some reason. ???
