  • Lol stupid BigW
"Free delivery when you buy online. Ends 28-Feb.
    Currently unavailable online"

Theres a range of cameras at $68 online too. (ugh im failing at putting external links)

  • Nice price. Apparently the v1.0 firmware has a bug in the HD video recording, however later firmware releases are available which are supposed to fix it completely! :)

  • LOL AA batt and HD video = 2min recording time

      Rubbish..
This is an awesome little camera. Video is good, photos are superb! Especially given the tiny price.
Buy 2 sets of rechargeables (although most will/should already own some), and a backup set of Duracells, and you'll be taking photos long after everyone with their stupid proprietary batteries have stopped due to dead batteries.

      • Indeed this camera has good specs, but still, AA batteries wont last as long as Li-on ones.

AA batteries wont last as long as Li-on ones

Nor will they be as expensive or difficult to replace! You can run into almost any shop & grab some AA's; but when that Li-ion one goes flat unless you've got spares or a fast charger handy, well…what's the name of that creek you're up sans paddling implement! ;)

        • True, AA batteries are cheaper and more convenient to buy, but IMO, in the long run, the money spent on those batteries will be a lot, probably equate to the price of Li-On ones. This is from experience using my dads AA battery camera, and yes, we used rechargeable AA batteries too. Who the hell can remember and be bothered recharging and carrying 50 billion AA batteries.

I agree, Li-ion battery tech is awesome. We shouldn't have to wait too long for Li-ion AA cells, so we can soon have the best of both worlds! ;)

For the meantime, most modern cameras will run quite nicely on NiMH, and with good quality ones like Eneloops that have a decent capacity you don't even have to carry too many either! If you can remember to charge your Li-ion pack, then I'm sure that same cognitive capacity can be devoted to NiMH tech as well! :)

  • There cameras are good but you need to get rechargable batteries some $20 then the charger again some $20 why not this for $129.00

I'd like to know where you're paying so much for your rechargables.

      • Eneloop rechargeable batteries.

I think, there are many deals frequently selling rechargeable cells with charger for 20 dollars.
Still, I was wandering, how come the total becomes 129
      68+20+20 = 108 and not 129.

I hope, you are not adding 21 dollars for the labour for plugging the cells on :)

  • They do have the jv100 avail @ around $145, got the guy to scan it for me… uses li-ion, for those who REALLY want it… me personally - rechargeable AA ftw.
