  • Been there once - Great food. It was next to a bottle shop - great for the BYO.

Im scared of indian restaurants I hear they reheat food

Dude, if you knew what went on in most commercial kitchens (regardless of cuisine) you probably wouldn't eat out anywhere! ;)

    • +1

Yes as the saying goes, don't watch how sausages and laws are made if you want to avoid revulsion. And probably food in commercial kitchens too.

    • I'm the same dude- would never eat at an Indian restaurant, not since the last time I got really sick

    • obviously you didn't read how long aircraft food was frozen before dished out on the aircraft?

  • I've dined in the Crows Nest establishment a few years ago and it was great. Looking at Eatability, a couple of dissenters aside, the recent reviews seem to be good. I'm inclined to buy. Has anybody eaten there recently? What was it like?

Also I don't understand these two conditions:

    One voucher per person
Redemption of max. one voucher per two patrons

The second is saying only one voucher per two patrons, so what does the first mean? Can a rep explain?

    • +1

I am not a rep, but here's how I interpret it. While purchasing it you can only purchase one voucher per person and additional vouchers as gifts. While redeeming it you can redeem max of one voucher per two patrons.

So for example, you buy one for yourself and gift one to your spouse and both of you go for dinner, you can only redeem one voucher between the two of you.

      • Thanks that makes sense. I'm ok with the 2nd condition. Essentially a $30 discount on dinner for two, which might total from $60 to $100, which is not bad.

  • Can 4 members go dine-in with one coupon of 20$?

    • No. T&C states "Redemption of max. one voucher per two patrons"

    • +2

Hang on, couldn't two people share a coupon and the other two pay full price? So you only get a reduction of $30 all up.

      • Sure, if you are paying full price they couldn't care less if you went with 20 people. However, what they want is only two people buying stuff worth $50 for $20, with the others paying full price and not eating into the $50 worth of eligible food/drinks.
