so many questions - so few answers!
You would have to assume that they are sending out 1,000 vouchers only. Seems unlikely that they'll set up a live database updated for each redemption ?? Or maybe they will…?
Cheers
102 clicks in, hopefully nowhere else has posted this up :)
Except the national distribution of Woman's Day magazine which is named in the promotion :)
this is a classic marketing tool. 1000 people are given vouchers, however with a mystery count it will probably attract 10x more subscribers (eg 10000), which is why this method works
anyone got this?
SecurityID doesn't match, possible CSRF attack.
yep, I can't submit the form either using Chrome - "SecurityID doesn't match, possible CSRF attack".
Just switched from Chrome to IE and IE allows the form to be submitted…
This is what i got after I filled the form out: Thank you for signing up to The Coffee Club’s E-Newsletter. Your voucher arrive in the post within 14 working days.
So I think you'll get that if you're one of the first 1000?
Thanks, just signed up. No problems here with Safari :) Also, since I don't see any other T&Cs, I'm assuming other people in my household can get this too?
My local Coffee Club got washed away in the flood :(
coffee denial is cruel
I think they're actually physically posting the voucher - am I correct?
yes I think so.
I got a voucher for a free coffee here when I donated blood last week. I didn't even bother with it, I hate the coffee my local 'Coffee Club'.
Not worth the buggering around for a $3 cup of coffee here.
Send it to me and then I'll have 2
just got an email saying my voucher is on the way..
coffee club is terrible though. the coffee always tastes like dishwater and the food while it looks nice, is a total rip off.
Got mine today (VIC)… love the coffee club cakes! YUM!
thanks witherwings
NOTE: it expires on the 18th of March!
got it today too. damn early expiry..
can be used on any hot drink up to value of $5.
Might get that and try the thai tasing plate (which is $14.90 which is hugely overpriced, but as a once off with free drink ill give it a go..).
My logic was similar to yours, and though well if I'm getting a free drink, we may as well order some overpriced food. BAD IDEA! The food was AWFUL! I un-bargained the bargain by wasting $25 on horrid food to get two free, but not that impressive, coffees.
Boo!
Lol thought that might have been the case.. saw people ordered the tasting plate and it looked terrible. Its oven baked too apparently, probably from frozen..
Will just get my free coffee..
What constitutes a redemption? When a customer presents a voucher at a franchise?
How will they know when 1000 have been redeemed all over Australia, do they have real-time computer tracking?
Or is each franchise allocated a certain quota? If so, how do we know if the franchise is telling the truth when they say they have reached their quota?
Or by redemption do they mean they will only send out 1000 vouchers total?
