          I work in a data center, it's not entirely abnormal to reboot a server on a daily basis, particularly one that gets high traffic.

          I also work in a data centre. There is no reason why a server holding a small-moderate size website would need rebooting each day. Any server that needs a reboot each day has some serious config problems.

          Ok, I'll put this one to rest. It doesn't need to be rebooted every day, there is nothing wrong with it, it's just how it was set up ages ago. If everyone wants to complete a poll, we can work out who doesn't want the RS server to get rebooted each day :)

          If you need reassuring, contact us by email. FYI, we have other servers that run non-stop, you get a hosting account you can see the uptime.
