For those of you (like me) who have already churned the better deals from ANZ FF/ANZ Rewards/Westpac/St George/NAB/Qantas Money in the last 12 months, this is a pretty good deal. $50 for 54,000 Velocity points (per May’s bonus promo) is decent. This deal was posted on Ozbargain a few months ago but is listed as expired. Citibank had this deal expiring on 30/6/2018 but have just updated the expiry date to 31/7/2018.
Details:
100,000 bonus Citi Reward Points when you spend $3,000 on your card within 90 days of approval, and enjoy a reduced annual fee of $49 for the first year (reverts to a discounted annual fee of $149 thereafter).
Rewards points can be converted into frequent flyer miles including Emirates Skyward Miles, Velocity Frequent Flyer and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer. As well as to buy gift cards or items from the store. Receive 100,000 points when you spend $3,000 in 90 days from card approval.
100,000 points will get you:
40,000 Velocity Frequest Flyer points

Prepaid Gift Cards worth <$500
Note that Velocity have bonus transfer promotions with their partner programs once or twice a year. The last one (in May) for this amount of points was a bonus 35% on transfer, equating to 54,000 Velocity points for this deal.

Decent return on investment. However, Sh1t1bank are notoriously difficult to deal with so you have to add in many layers of getting stuffed around into the equation.
