  Finally gave up on LG. Had the G4, G5, V20, G6. The G7 is just not worth it for the price compared to the competition. The lack of updates and support has been terrible. And how fast it drops in value is crazy. Good for a budget buy when it hits $500 though. Maybe the upcoming V40 would be good but Im guessing they will price it on par with upcoming Samsung Note 9.

  Dammit why everyone gotta rip on LG lol. I cbfd screwing around waiting for things to drop more but comments put me off purchasing.

  Spos I should just get g6 or something ~500 for marginal decrease in quality.

    I've had my g3 for 3 or 4 years and it's only finally starting to slow down.

    My G6 was lagging. Was using the international indian ROM which was the latest and even that lagged. G6 Camera is worse than G5. Even my daughter doesn't want my G6 as a hand me down. Wants to keep the G5 because of the camera. I now have a Samsung S9+ and the difference in responsiveness is like black and white to me. Never thought I needed the upgrade, until I switched and upgraded!

      if you want responsiveness, go the developer settings and turn off the animation.

  You should be able to sell the speaker for about $150 (cheapest currently on eBay is $200), bringing the G7 to under $700? Seems pretty decent.
