  • Don't get me started on the useless WA water corp and how they shaft us.

It's hard enough to find a bearable shower head and I'm not trading my existing heads in on something that doesn't even show the flow rate.

"highly efficient" usually means "utter rubbish"

    • Interesting you mentioned that. I once spent two hours installing a complicated (for me) $260 mixer shower tap. When I finally turned it on, it had practically no water coming out, literally not enough to shower. I narrowed it down to a "water saving" fitting placed between the shower hose and the tap. I removed it and now it works fine :)

      • It sounds like your water had insufficient pressure. Was it on an instantaneous heater?
The water authority says these shower heads may not be suitable for instantaneous.

  • +1

Not as good as the free new gas appliances the WA government is giving us to replace pre-1980s ones.

I'm hoping that before the next state election, my power-guzzling old rear-projection TV will be replaced for "free" by the government with a brand new LCD of equivalent size. Gimmme!

  • From the picture, it looks like a pretty good one. I used to use one similar to that, you can adjust your flow rate, so it's quite ok. But, not sure whether this one is the same as that one :p can just go to bunnings for more info i guess, since we have to go there to swap.

  • Any similar promo in SA?

  • Looks like the same ones we got in Vic, some time back. Mine work great, so + from me. (They cost about $20 each to buy here.)
