I bought one of these from Scoopon on the 22/1/11 for 2 x Prestige Wash at Shine Car Wash. I went to Shine at Bulleen on the 29/1/11 and told the Indian Supervisor that I have a coupon. He then gave me all source of bullshit excusses.
I had sent email to Shine and Scoopon regarding to this bullshit but have not hear anything from them.
DO NOT WAST YOUR MONEY WITH THIS SCAM !!!!!

I live just near these guys, they're alright. I've used them twice, first time was fine, second time I had some problems there were smears on the windows (not enough window cleaner I'm guessing) and the center console wasn't vacuumed at all, I was in a hurry so I didn't mention it. I've bought this coupon though, even with my experience this is a great price. I don't really hold out much hope for quality control once they get swamped by this deal though, so be sure to check out your car and the windows before taking back the key. Haven't had their coffee so can't comment on that, friendly staff though.

Sorry to hear about your experience with Shine CarWash @ Bulleen.
Being cautious myself, I actually called up the Shine Carwash @ Nunawading but the owner was very receptive and nice. He said no booking, no problems, just bring voucher in. And when I got there, everything worked like a treat. Coffee was good and they even had a very small kids play area. Overall, I was very impressed (but yes, the centre console wasn't washed but could be because i had left a couple of water bottles in there).
Personally I have no problems @ Nunawading (just went there once though) and have absolutely no problems with them.

Brendan from Scoopon contacted me and asked a few questions and promises to refund soon.
However, Shine Car wash hasnot. I want them to say sorry too. If they cant honour the coupon, DON'T SELL IT. They took the money up front, and have a chance of people forget to redeem = purely profit. No different between coupon and cash.
Good on you Ausooi, i know not all Shine car wash is assh…. Like the one at Bulleen. If they treat people like this, all 8 locations are effected and closing down soon.
