    See! At least they didn't use the term 'fresh' in this particular advert because it is simply misleading and deceptive. As a former employee, I can assure that more than 90% of ingredients are prepared from a frozen product. E.g. Bread heated from frozen tubes and seafood Sensation made from Frozen Surumi Seafood Mix, chopped and mixed in packaged mayonnaise.

      Blind Freddy could tell most if the meats there aren't fresh, and since there are no people working dough like a pizza place, it's pretty clear their bread is baked from frozen material.

      I'm fine with all that. As long as most of the salad stuff is fresh, it's OK to have the rest prepared from frozen ingredients. It's pretty obvious that the seafood mix isn't going to be freshly caught. It wouldn't be possible to offer that menu item for most stores, if that was the case.

      But the bread is freshly baked in-store. What's the alternative? Even if you mix the flour and water in the store, you didn't mill the wheat into flour. There has to be a line. Most people consider in-store baking to be the line for claiming the bread is fresh.

      Also the salad seems fresh enough.

      Point taken on the frozen seafood. I avoid seafood in most cases.
