  • Not disputing the offer, but can't see anywhere on the landing page which mentions the 60k points?

Strange it isn’t mentioned. And it’s a bit sneaky you have to enter a promo code to be eligible. Only see it in the t&c’s-

+60,000 bonus Qantas Points offer commences 14 May 2018. To be eligible you must apply for a new Bendigo Bank Qantas Platinum Mastercard by 15 June 2018, be approved and spend $2,500 on everyday purchases within 90 days of opening your account. Everyday purchases exclude transactions Bendigo Bank decides are wholly or partly for gambling or gaming purchases. Applicants must enter the promotion code QANTAS into the application form to be eligible. Bendigo Bank may vary or end this offer at any time. Offer is only available when applying for a new Bendigo Bank Qantas Platinum Mastercard through www.bendigobank.com.au. Offer is not available in branch or via Bendigo Bank call centre. Offer is not available when closing/transferring from another Bendigo Bank credit card account or in conjunction with any other Bendigo Bank offer. Points will be credited to your points balance within 3 months of meeting the spend criteria.

  • If you have run out of sign up offers then this is good.

If not the ANZ platinum is better for the same spend, $0 yearly fee first year but 65,000 points.

Anz black is still one of the best in market.

However it requires you have a much higher income $70k vs $35k. I was just comparing similar cards available to applicants whose income is in the lower bracket.

        • I agree. The 65k is easier to get approved, lower credit limit and minimum income of only 65k. The 10k difference isn’t worth the effort imo but ymmv.

        • @nightelves: it’s worth the effort if you on a high income. It’s an extra $100 worth of points.

          @Slo20:

Not worth it if you’re churning even on high income. Besides 10k Qantas points can be easily had elsewhere.

@nightelves: that doesn’t make sense. If you can get he anz platinum or anz black just as easily for no extra cost of effort it’s a no brainer to get the better one…

        • @Slo20:

Read the comment below. As a churner you can easily get rejected for this card instead of the Platinum card.

        • @nightelves: but my response to that was that if you are high enough income (not just close to the 70k min) Then it’s a no brainer. My partner and never been knocked back for the black card.

        • @Slo20: Try applying for 6-7 credit cards a year

PErfect for me. Won't be up for another ANZ Black until September so this will keep me preoccupied until then….

Damn just did an application and got rejected because of my credit review… odd cuz my credit score with equifax is on border of Good and Excellent (724), Must have analysed my previous credit card application 1 month ago….

I guess i will wait a little longer to try this one again.

      • @IpIau: is ur score 724 on creditsavvy and still got rejected ?
How many applications u had in last 6 months ?

        • 2 credit card apps and 2 home loans lol.

    60,000QPs = $420 approx

    • +1

That might be through gift cards but can easily sell on here for $600+

    • How do you get $420 for 60000 QPs?

      • +4

He’s referring the value of the points based on it converting to giftcards through the Qantas store.

        • +1

          Indeed I was. Based on 1QP = $0.007

Don't forget to enter the promo code: QANTAS.

  • Applied. Thanks for sharing.

  • @Rosace and tvtn295:
Can u guys pls share when approved- which documents they asked for the verification of income ?

    • They asked for 2 payslips but I got refused… « as a result of your credit eligibility information ».

      • Did they ask for detailed bank statements and also statements of previous credit cards ?

  • thanks OP - applied and approved on the spot. :)
Just have to go thru the rigmarole of verifying ID.
No acknowledgement email of any kind received from Bendigo Bank though - Is this normal?

    • Seems normal as you already know you're approved and they don't need anything else.

    • HOw many days after approval u got the card.
Also other than 2 payslips, did they ask for anything else ?

  • Can any of you guys say if they asked for detailed bank statement and also previous credit card statements ?

    • No and no for me but ymmv
