      I used the code last night and was charged delivery. Some restaurants have free delivery, some don't. It did stack with the % off for new customers promos by individual restaurants, though.

    WTF, damn it.

    Put through an order and had it accepted, the offer code included. No response back via SMS, it turns out the resteraunt isn't even open. Menulog has charged my card regardless and I can't use voucher code now elsewhere, either.

    Christ these people are useless. Why would they allow the code and a purchase to go through BEFORE having the delivery offer accepted by the restaurant?

    Just an FYI, Menulog are having some tech issues at the moment where restaurants are being listed as open and available for delivery, despite being closed. I just finished a 25min chat with support going back and forward until they acknowledged the issue, where orders are going through and being charged, despite the restaurant not having accepted the order. After realising they could replicate the problem, they just started a refund on my credit card (will take 3-5 business days) and will issue a replacement $15 voucher code in the same time period.

    Hope no one else is stung with the same issue.

      I feel your pain spent 30mins on chat with the same problem. No idea if the food will show up or if ill get a refund.

      It's not a technical issue :(

      The restaurants do this in order to stop people from redeeming vouchers or cash back deals.

      We've had two orders rejected tonight, with one restaurant stating that they were having "menu problems", and another saying they were out of paneer.

      This is in addition to the major stuff up we had last time we ordered (we spent 2.5 hours in march because our cancelled order re animated, and suddenly we had two orders coming).

      I've let them know in no uncertain terms we will never order from them, or the restaurants concerned again.

      waited a hour and a half for maccas on my one and only shot …….. driver had his kids in the car said he had to get them dressed before he did deliveries. needless to say food was cold and got a refund. never used uber eats again

    Deliveroo is crap. I ordered mad mex through it and my meal never arrived. Turns out the driver had an accident on the way and they didn't contact me. Said my food had been delivered. So I had to follow it up. Got a refund and credit but wouldn't use again.

      you need to select delivery, does not work for pickup. -this is how I got it to work in my case, not sure if works in all cases.

    Just as feedback, we got a code, but it was useless.

    Restaurants in our area do not accept orders with vouchers or cash back. We know this due to having our order rejected with a number of seperate excuses such as having "menu problems" or being out of a specific ingredient.

    We've had this problem on several occasions, so this is the last time we will use menulog.

    ….and it seems the free delivery they originally advertised also doesn't exist?? This voucher has the feel of a bait and switch offer…

    Can't wait for deliveroo to launch in our area (for some reason there are hugs areas of brisbane they still don't service :( )
