    I dunno - there's a bunch o' snapdragon 845 phones coming very soon that will make these look expensive at those prices.

    • More info, please? so it's not a good time to buy a new phone?

        OnePlus 6 is rumoured to be released within a few months.Spec leaks say snapdragon 845. But there's always new phones coming out so you buy anytime with an eye on the price :)

          Yes, that one seems front runner. This (A$1006. Not sure if they ship to Australia and no band 28, just an example):

        • @wfdTamar:

          The top end model of the Mi Mix 2S is supposed to have all international bands - including band 28

          https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Xiaomi-Mi-Mix-2S-Snapdragon-…

          Looks like an awesome phone but for over $1,000 and no local warranty, I'm not sure if I'd take the risk.

        • @OnTheMark: if you’re not happy with the xiaomi what would the resale value be on ebay or gumtree compared to an iphone ?

          we seem to be getting so many good deals on android phones with band 28 and australian warranty , why would a person in australia spend $1000 on a xiaomi ?

          if my v20 wasn’t still working or due to get oreo, id get a g6 at $550 is a cheap phone with local support , bands, charger, etc.

          @garage sale:
          My G4 died 2nd time . No more lg for a while.

        • @garage sale:

          I think that we're actually in agreement about the Xiaomi - when the price comes down to something like $500, then it would good value.

          The main things making me hold off on the G6 is the lack of wireless charging and the locked boot loader. I've got an LG G3 that has wireless charging and is getting weekly updates thanks to LineageOS - Although the G6 is an upgrade in many ways, I personally don't want to lose those features…

          @tae:

          Wow, the G4's are failing too?!

          I had my G3 and loved it RIGHT up until it bootlooped… Never again LG, never again.

        The ridiculously named G7 ThinQ to be announced May3 so should drop around then probably maybe….

    well i say don't buy the price just jacked up, mate 10 pro was $800 after discount code and just just increased price. still showing the lower price on their own website.

  • No deal on these prices I'm afraid. I'll wait a few weeks and buy these phones at cheaper prices
