Great gin, my favourite. Good price. Not the best ever on OzBargain, but enough to make me pull the trigger

Thanks, I'll walk there now and grab a bottle.
Worth noting that the 1L bottles are 47% rather than 40% in the standard 700ml bottles
Ahhhh. Nice. I didn't know this!
Have you tried Malfy gin from Italy Wombat?
No, I haven't, how does it compare?
My fav Gin is actually the 'Bombay Sapphire East' I like the extra spices.
The Botanist is my new hendrick's
@Desailly: Thanks. I'll put that next on the hit list.
@Desailly: We have Hendricks and Botanist in the cupboard. Just finishing a bottle of Cotswolds which is lovely with cucumber. Possibly a touch drier than the other two - and good with Capi or Fever-tree. Stranglove tonic water (from Dan Murphy outlets) produces a very dry G&T using Cotswolds.
Bombay Sapphire East is our preference for G&T served with lime or lemon.
@lostincanberra:
I'm more of a cucumber guy. hence only hendricks and botanist. but if the bar/pub only has bombay then yes it will have to be lime/lemon.
try the shiraz gin by four pillars, but u gotta use orange or grapefruit for this. it doesn't taste like the usual G&T
@Desailly: Interesting! I was going to buy the regular Four Pillars as one of our next non-cucumber friendly gin…
Opihr is my absolute favourite. Really strong peppery taste at the end. It's absolutely delicious!
SGD28 at Changi airport for those travelling through Singapore…
has anyone tried the STAR OF BOMBAY? heaps more expensive.
Yes. Not worth it. Pretty bottle tho'.
Amazing… I was in Florence a few years ago and bought the at Supermercato Coop (upmarket Woolies) for 13 Euro.
