JB Hi-Fi have even further dropped their price for this gaming machine (Down from $2699). It is available online only and shipping starts from $9.99.
I think it's the best price for a gaming laptop with this spec.
I have had Acer V Nitro 571 and currently have 592 and I am quite happy with it, very good build quality. Some reviews say it may overheat under heavy load.
Kogan have a similar 593g model (Less ram, less ssd, weaker graphic) for $2,250.22

This is actually a great Laptop for the price. But it does run hot even if you are using it for a little while even on basic applications. So you definitely need a cooling pad. One fix is to reduce the Max cpu to 80% that did keep the laptop cooler. If you did want to go one further- slightly reduce the core voltage (not recommended for noobs) in intel extreme tuning utility.
Upgrade wise, pretty easy to install.
One thing I don’t like is the track pad. Either I’m using it wrong or the trackpad just won’t right click at sporadic times and does get a bit annoying. But obviously a mouse would fix this issue.
Also for those who use an Sd card, it sticks out half way. Not a big deal but always worried I would snap it in half.
