Dude, the name of the company, the address and the website are all right there on the PDF. Am I missing something?
well if they fail to put a price, dealer, location and model number. Don't want to waste my time downloading a PDF.
Proper deals should include all the details like price, shop name, location and link to product deal on web site and delivery costs. They have also failed to mention the model number of the laptop. For this I am going to give a negative.
YEP makes sense to me… good call
Price or neg. Im sick of these reps saying there's a deal but don't put price to obviously draw traffic to their site. It's oz BARGAIN price is everything. And this is looking like SPAM
It's $999. It's in HUGE font on the pdf.
It's still bad form to not put any actual information in the OzBargain post itself.
Clicking through to the link should not be necessary to know the basics of the bloody offer.
Okay, that's fair enough. I think in this case though the rep just made a mistake, and wasn't trying to "draw traffic to their site".
gotta get me one of those maaaaa-books…. made especially for mothers?
is this good?
Would expect to see a price…
mamamamamamaaaaabook
I would say it is the exact same one Wow is offering;
https://shop.1wow.com.au/productcart/pc/MACBOOK-13-MC207XA-A…
There deal includes delivery as well, so if it is the same this system is hardly a bargain!
3.4mb pdf necessary for a half page brochure?
The OP must have absolutely NO IDEA about computers or internet. 3.4MB PDF = FFS
Here is a copy of the same advert in a 74KB JPG… http://i55.tinypic.com/esrb6o.jpg - which is all that is required, and would also allow the image to display.
Neg from me for absolutely pathetic title, useless description, drop and run OP (where did the rep go?) and for wasting 3.4MB of my bandwidth.
yes, the brochure was created on a mac!
Not fair - he's a country boy, its not the Maaaaaa's fault. The plough in the far paddock is bogged down in rain… This deal is from Coffs Harbour, probably explains the slow download. NBN hasn't reached there…
What's a Mabook ????
3.4MB PDF is too big for such little info.
You have to put in the Macbook model details as well.
Is this MC207X/A?
If it is, WOW beats your price by $20
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/35816
Don't think this is a great deal. As Kearnsy says..WoW has the same deal. And these pricedrops are usually a sign, that there will be new Macbooks introduced in Jan/Feb.
Well I believe this is the "old" model, there has already been a replacement released many months ago. Thus these $999 models are not the same ones that you typically buy now.
Failed rep post.. It's not cheap, not mabook and NOT lowest price ever!!!
This is spam…
Is it compatible with a "Pabook" ?
FYI these are usually on the apple store refurb for same price too:
http://store.apple.com/au/product/FC207X/A?mco=MTU5MjkwMjk
and a higher spec:
First post,
Sorry about the pic size lesson learnt.
Regarding description and other admin issues point taken for next post.
I do not intend to be rude, but as you have seen already, if you dont do your homework you will be caned. this IS a BARGAIN site and people only want bargains. Home town support, first name friendliness gets zip compared to $20 off. Well they will take both, but the price has to be right.

Rep revealed the model to be a MC207X/A in a duplicate post. Quick search with staticice shows that the same model can be had for $949 with free shipping at buymac.com.au: http://www.buymac.com.au/product/apple-macbook-13”-226ghz2x1gb250gbsuperdrive—mc207xa
Not the "lowest price ever" at all.
Not the “lowest price ever” at all.
maybe Rep was referring to his lowest price ever ?
It is our lowest price and rep thought doing right thing.
a little bit of market research would help instead of claiming the lowest price online
If you do that in stores people might believe you but not online
You should also mention the dealer name and location in the title.
And fix the header to say MacBook. Do they offer online purchase?
