  • Merged from Vax VX58 18V Cordless Vaccum 50% off $57 @ Bunnings Alexandria Sydney
    Go to Deal

Went to Bunnings Alexandria in Sydney today and saw three of these in a clearance bin with other vacuums and steam mops. Saw a few people looking at them but no one was pulling the trigger (obvs not ozbargainers!)

Located on the top floor near the escalators and original price is $115 so it’s half off.

Not sure if they are on clearance at all Bunnings but worth a try and people can let others know if they managed to find them at their local Bunnings.

  • Merged from [Switch] Doom $29 Limited Store Stock Only @ BIG W
    Go to Deal

Just discovered this in store thought it might be a price error but it is the same online. Cheapest price I have seen for the physical version on Nintendo Switch.

    • It’s been $29 for a while now.

      • Hmm I know it's been cheaper on ps4/xbox didn't realise it had dropped on Switch since it's still pretty much full price everywhere except Bigw.

    • +1

Can't find instore stock and home delivery isn't available for me, looks like out of stock.

      • Still suggest checking in store if you can the website is showing no stock at my local store. I just grabbed one and there is at least few more in Mudgee.

        • Yeah, you're in a rural area. I haven't seen these in store for ages.

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: Yeah I guess that I explains it mate, might mark it as out of stock then sorry about that, hopefully some people still get lucky and manage to find one.

        • Tried instore at the only Bigw near me here in Melbourne CBD and no joy :-(

    • Looks out of stock in Melbourne and no delivery? :(

    • Let see if Amazon matches it.

Found this deal as a "more buying" option under Amazon.au's main page for this product. Looks to be shipping from Australia. The Kevo Contemporary Bluetooth Deadbolt looks functionally identical to the Kevo Traditional AKA Kevo Smart Lock, 2nd Gen. Looks like colours available are black and satin.

*edit the deal now goes to the main product page, scroll down the page until you see "2 new from $149.00"

Apple got rid of the cursed butterfly keyboards for the 2019 MacBook Pro.

      • Time will tell. My 2019 is holding up fine, but so did my 2017.

      • +1

That is incorrect. Apple has not yet released a Macbook Pro in 2019 without the butterfly keyboard (though there are rumors it will happen)

        • Rumours I saw more strongly pointed towards a late 2019 MacBook Air with a scissor keyboard. The same rumour suggested the rumoured 16" MBP wold still use the butterfly. That was prior to the refresh of the Air two weeks ago mind you which may or may not change things.

I know the word "rumour" was use a lot there.

    • +2

Wow great price (for a Macbook Pro). I bought a 512GB model shortly after it's release in 2018 with 10% off at JB and it was still $3689 .. ugggh that price still haunts me.

    • -2

Im thinking hard for 3 days and still thinking, to buy $900 laptop but people immediately click something for $2500? Crazy world we live in

      • I don’t get it. There are $200 desktops, there are $4000 rigs. There are $500 laptops and $5000 laptops.

        • It's an Apple. Just pay the big money and know that you're not an ordinary punter. 'nuff said.

      • Just out of curiosity, what do you think about a meal that cost around $12-$14?

        • Ridiculous. If you aint living on mi goreng for a few cents. You baller.

Merged from [NSW, Ex-Display] LG E8 65" 4K UHD AI Smart OLED TV $1888 C&C Only @ JB Hi-Fi Tweed City, Narellan
    Go to Deal

This is a real bargain! A slightly better model than B8. When I arrived at the store (Carindale Brisbane), I was told that there were still two brand new ones available even though the website says the price is for "ex-display".
Add 5-years warranty for another $209 and use B-HiFi gift card to get another 5% off. Totally $1992, incredible!

    • +1

Good find if some stores will honour that price for the brand new models too.

      • This is an old model in 2018 and they don't even display it anymore. The sales need to use the computer to check there are still two in the warehouse and he was shocked by the massive price slash. Maybe some stores still have limited stocks but I suppose there will be no more restocking.

    • "There are currently no stores with available stock within 200km from your location."

    • cosmetic imperfections such as a scratch, dent or scuff

      no thanks.

      • +1

The sales guy confirmed that it is not a display model. They went through everything with me to make sure there is no dent, scratch and damage. From what I can see the TV was perfectly packed and the screen protection film was still on. To be honestI am not quite sure if it has been resealed or repacked but the price is good even for ex-display anyway.

        • If you got a brand new one for that price then you’ve picked up a ripper deal. Of course you could just do a jv and get a Polaroid 65” for $300 from a recently announced closing down BigW. In which case, you got ripped off…..

          • @B Wat:

            get a Polaroid 65” for $300

Well I've been following LG B8 deal for a few months on this forum. I learn a a lot from others and I have missed a couple of deals. Whenever there was a great price it only lasted for a short time or only available in limited areas. Just make this post to give back to the forum. A few hours ago there were still stock in a few stores now only tweed-head.

        • I got the one in tweed heads 👌👍

    • 65” looks to be gone - link dead. Real bargain! Great find!

55” still available - 1 in Ringwood victoria.

    • Snapped the tweed city one. Indeed brand new. Thanks mate.

  • Merged from Ben Sherman Mens Parka Jacket down Alternative Olive XXL (Slim Fit Only 2 in Stock) $45.70 @ Amazon AU
    Go to Deal

Saw this while browsing price hipster, seems to be a great price for the jacket but only in the XXL size for some reason, it's a slim fit according to comments so probably only get it if you're an XL which I'm not so thought someone else could take advantage. For comparisons sake the XL costs $158.

        $569 at Big W.

          • @BeefBiryani: OzBargain classifieds. I got one of those Target iPhone 6s Plus here for $325 brand new, ended up with my son. If it lasts him till end of 2020, i'll be happy.

    • -10

With the price of iPhone 8 Plus, better go with Sammy or Huawei unless you’re locked in Apple echo system. Apple’s old models like iPhone 8 are so outdated.

      • -3

Get a BlackBerry priv for like $200. Similar specs and you get a keyboard if needed.

      • +3

Yeah, they're not outdated. It might be 18 months old but it'll be supported for years.

    • I thought DJs stopped selling apple a while ago. Maybe it was just accessories?

Regardless, good price for all aside from the 256 iPhone 8.

      • Myer was selling out their Apple products (including accessories) a while back, and now don't sell any official Apple products.
Maybe you are thinking of that?

        • Ah yeah. That would be it. I think I remember DJs getting rid of their electrical department too

          • @Bellpop: That was when their electrical department was run by Dick Smith

Missus still got the one I got her from this.

I remember getting it, it was so good. I went up to the shop on my lunch break, got them to match it for me, went back in to TAFE and told some of the girls about it, they raced up to try to get one, and the manager supposedly borderline yelled at them, she was pissed the person behind the counter gave me my one, and straight refused to give any of my mates one of the phones. Only found out a good while later, cracked me right up.

      1 left?

    • Model no?

    • And it's gone!

    • Out of stock. This product has SOLD OUT!

    • Isn't there a model with 6gb ram? Probably better holding out for that anyway.

      • Considering you can have the V30+ with 128G storage for $399 at the moment, local stock from JBHiFi, I'd say no deal. The speaker on the G7 is louder, it's newer (so slightly quicker) and it's thinner. Everything else I give to the V30+

        • personally I'm waiting for a good deal on the G8, or whatever the V equivalent will be. Bit of a shame the G8 won't have 5g, so maybe the V equiv will be better. I've heard that will have 5G.

Price error, it should be $499.

    • +2

Not a good price … at least not as a gaming system which is where the other HPs were priced at. Wait for Ebay Dells to be on special again. The quadro p600 is slightly and only slightly above MX150 .. a 1050 blows it out of the water.

Judging by the comments I think we all missed out on the $499 deal - even those of us who provided CC info ;)

      • It has Quadro gfx which means this is not a gaming laptop but more towards graphic designers.

    • +2

I love how you posted the specs of the laptop too. That was really handy.

    • +2

      Probably worth about $600-800 tops.

It'd be a good deal if it had a 1050/1060, 16GB RAM and possibly an extra 1TB HDD or just a 500GB SSD/NVMe maybe.

Even without the above, and just using it for work, the design looks really clunky and thick as well, so it doesn't even have that going for it.

      • Thanks.

How is Catch even allowed to advertise a RRP of $2699 if it clearly isn't worth anywhere that much?

        That's crazy

        • The laptop was probably 2699 on release and they could get away with it I guess.

        • +1

Catch.com.au is from what I can tell, liquidators where they buy mass amounts of old surplus stock and resell it. I noticed this when I was looking for a iPad Pro 2018 and noticed they had lots of iPad Pro's on sale and had the original RRP labels all over it, at closer look I found out the models they had was from 2017/2016 and if anything even priced higher then other places for the same thing at other re-sellers, You really need to do your due diligence with catch sadly.

But anyhoo, This looks to like like a 12-18month old workstation laptops (due to the Quadro GPU) which no surprises as to why they didn't sell.. Workstations are harder to sell compared to buying a gaming laptop and using that for workstation apps.

So this laptop might have been $2699 but that's RRP and that was when it was first released and even then that was over priced for the specs as you could have gotten a 8th gen i7 hex-core machine with a 1060-1070 GPU for that same price 12-18months ago. What you are paying for is the certified Quadro Pro drivers.

    • People here saying would be worth more with a gaming card obviously are looking at gaming performance only. This is a business workstation. Useless for gaming. Made for applications (usually CAD like programs) that will actually utilise the Quadro how it is supposed to be used. It's a decent (not great, but not awful) price but if you want to game I would steer clear.

    • So that's $1399 discount from original RRP. Maybe the BLITZ1500 code from yesterday's deal on the HP site wasn't an error after all.

    • I just received one of the HP refurb I7 gen 8 FHD that were going for $560 last week, I will drop 256GB SSD in to replace the 16GB optane and 4GB ram so it becomes 8GB total into it for change from $120, so for under $700 seems like better deal if you happy to do a bit of DIY …..

it arrived pristine, no scratches or finger prints, and 12 mths HP warranty.

Saw this in store today @ Top Ryde (NSW). They also had others on sale but this one jumped out at me as it is an awesome panel for a low price. Must be clearing out old stock..

Wow, bet they won't last long at that price. Fantastic LED TV. New firmware out this month for it, with an Android update.

    • +1

      Ripper deal, good spotting!

    • +2

Great price if you can find stock. Brilliant TV, been enjoying mine for a month or so now

      • Ive had mine for about 1 year and its an excellent picture

      • I've got the 55", how do you find out about the upcoming firmware update? I've been finding the current one getting a bit lousy lately.

This one much inferior compared to Sony X9000F?

      • +2

Yes and no… the X90F has local dimming, etc. while the X80G doesn't, but I believe the X80G runs on a faster chipset (and hence snapper Android experience).

So screen is better on X90F but the X80G might be a bit more responsive.

        • Well, the X80G doesn’t even have a X1 chip, while the X90F has X1 extreme which is better than the normal X1 in models like X85G

        • By the way, my 9000E just received Oreo two days ago and I'm experiencing a much faster experience than it used to be.

Otherwise I used to limit the number of open apps to 4 in the dev settings and this made it MUCH faster before Oreo. I haven't felt the need to do this yet on the new update.

      • In Sony’s world, higher the number the better it is. X8000G is the entry level. X9000F is comparable to X9500G.

$200 more than my 65" version of this that I got in Feb 2019.

Great TV. The firmware for the 65" has updated now too, if it doesn't update automatically then you can download it from Sony and force it.

      • +1

I've had the same (65") since November and love it! Great update to Android arrived.

Tweak your settings a bit to get it even better - see rtings to start with and then tweak it a bit to fit your mood!

    • any available in VIC?

    • Wicked price. Tried a search on JB site for X90F, X9000F and K075X9000F nothing comes up, maybe only last few are at this store

    • Hey OP, were there many left?

      • +1

One display model left at least in Top Ryde.

        • Thanks. Damn! Too bad it's ex-display,

    • 9000 is the top of the range, just under Oled. Replaced with the 9500 series this year.

      • 9x00 is higher end than 9000. Due to unknown reason, Sony didn't launch 9x00 in 2018 and left it for 2019.

        9500G 2019 / 9400E 2017 are much better than 9000F 2018.

        • +1

          Yes, sorry, you're right.

    • +1

Saw this last thursday, display model. One left. Good price but can't say anything about the history.

    • -1

Great price but Good luck with Sony warranty claims.

      • Have you tryed the Samsung warranty claims ?

        • Have you tried Samsung washing machines?

    • +1

Was looking at the Hisense R8 75" for about the same price when on sale via eBay but this is a much…..much better TV right (if I can find one)??? Bit of a TV noob but this basically does everything the R8 does spec and feature wise apart from Dolby Atmos yeah?

      • +1

You really should not compare Hisense to Sony…

        • It was more a comparison of the price and features vs each other, not a comparison on brand names. As someone who is not a videophile, I’m basically looking at the best-bang-for-buck in a 75” TV.

    • +1

Though not the best TV's or even the best LCD they are the best bang for buck out there. Great buy!

    • Great price for a great TV, well done

    • +1

Whats wrong with Sony warranty claims?

    • Kind of too much for a UHD, could get a QLED 65ish for same money.

      • QLED is wannabe OLED.

        • -1

          Nopes, nope and nope.

          • @drazenm: Eh? Qled is the exact same tech as the triluminous on this Sony except Samsung got a better name for it…

            • @pingponged: no qled has better colors but similar priced qled has no fald so this is better bang for buck than qled

          • @drazenm: They are literally different technologies. The only people who think otherwise are 1) those who know nothing about OLED technology or 2) Samsung owners. Which bucket do you fall in?

    • Excellent. Excellent. Excellent!!!

I have one since Feb 2019 and it’s great picture for EVERYTHING!

Put it together with a Sony sound bar ht-800 and you’re 👌👌👌👌👌

  • Merged from [NSW] Decofire Milano Gas Fire Table $299 (Clearance, Limited Stock) @ Bunnings Smithfield
    Go to Deal

Some clearance items at Bunnings. Only 2 I saw. One was square and one was rectangle. Just at the top of the escalators.

    • The 88 series was down from $799 to $299

      • Useless without a photo to get a price match…

        • Ok me

    • These both take up a large amount of room and are useless as heaters.

Found this deal shopping at Bunnings Altona VIC. Arlec Garden Spot light kit (4 spots + low voltage transformer) for $60 (was $121). They had at least 4 units in stock on the clearance shelf, plus lots of other garden lighting on clearance.

    • +1

I have 2 of them, so quote this when calling.
    SGBKSLV5TB-Silver colour.
SGBKUP5TB -Blue or Black… Not sure.

There were 2 left at Yarraville Vic. Last night. Nil at Caroline Springs. Very helpful Lady at CS OW said her system indicated some at Altona OW also.
Good luck and get on that phone now!

    • -1

      But….Seagate.

    • Just left my local store and they had several of these drives along with 4tb 2tb and 1tb models on a clearance table

      • Lady at Altona said the 4TB were $149.00
Still a good price but not as good!
BTW please tell us your store. So some can share in the harmony!

  • Merged from [VIC] Nintendo Classic Mini $39 @ Kmart (Tarneit)
    Go to Deal

I just saw this at Kmart (Tarneit, Vic) on clearance.
    3 more left.
    Not sure with other stores.

    • what's original price?

      • $99 or so.

        • +2

yeah, about $99. and at launch they were selling for double that on the secondhand market.
this is the original Mini console that has sparked a trend with Sega, Playstation, Commodore 64 and others also making scaled down emulator consoles. (Atari "sort of" did it a while about but it didn't catch on)
it has 2 controllers and allows for save states. pretty decent system.

          • +2

@Sage: Nah this one only has one controller, SNES has 2

          • +1

@Sage: In the US, they were going for more than a grand on the resale market. I was seriously tempted to sell mine.

    • how many games?

      • +6

Hundreds if you mod it. 30 if you don't.

        • tks, i might consider those replica FC with 500 games included…

          • +3

@Tyler Kwok: Those things don't really have 500 different games. The same games are repeated over and over with slightly different ROM hacks.

            • @HomeAlone: i did researched to know there are dup games, but most of the classic games are included. i will post my review here after playing with it.

          • +3

@Tyler Kwok: I'd recommend you watch review videos before buying any of the replica consoles, sometimes they have rubbish audio or too much input lag to be an enjoyable experience. Other option make one yourself out of a raspberry pi or mid/late 2000s computer if you want to a better experience on the cheap

    • So how do the insides actually compare with this, snes mini and psx mini - in particular if you were to use it as a modded retro gaming device? If there a consensus as to the no1…?

      • +1

From what I remember, Nes mini and snes mini are identical inside. PSX mini is better, but has the worst software.

        • Sounds like Android ;-)

    • would i have to go to Tarneit?

      • Kmart prices are nationwide.

        • +5

        Darneit

    • +1

These were in stock for christmas last year. Don't expect to find them.

    • +6

How is this a deal if it's only in one store (ie stock and price not confirmed to be nation wide at time of posting) and less than 10 available?

      • +2

Still nice to remind people who were oh so convinced this would be a great "investment" when they first came out

      • -1

        Precisely. Waste of a post.

      • How is it not a deal? It's substancially cheaper than RRP, just because it is only confirmed in one place at the time doesn't mean it's not a deal.

        • +2

Posting a deal also requires the item to be available with a minimum of 10 in quantity as per the posting guidelines. That's why.

          • @Trishool: Which I’m sure as a nationwide deal it more then complies

            • @Splashtash: Has it been confirmed as a nation wide deal? At the time of posting it wasn't. Also a nation wide deal with no stock available is not a deal.

    • +5

Ummm your thumb is over the key area of that receipt, could be a $39 pair of …

      • +1

        … Underwear?

      • +3

I thought you were joking. Nope. LOL, the name of the item is completely covered.

Haha OP, you went to all the trouble of taking the photo and posting it for nothing!

      • +3

        It’s the NES Classic Mini.

The item name might be covered but a quick google of the exposed barcode number shows up most sellers.

    • kmart got out of the gaming business around 5 years ago. ??? wth are they selling these for.

      • Seasonal stock, sold during the Christmas period. Surprised it lasted this long.

    • +4

This needs to be merged into the low quantity / clearance deals by the admins.

      • -1

        No it don’t

      • I don't disagree but store specific Bunnings and Aldi deals seem allowed to stay up.

    Go to Deal

Was looking around for a cheap Mesh WiFi router to get a mate off my back and stumbled across this. Bing Lee had it for $399 which I thought was Cheap.

The Google WiFi Mesh Router is designed to deliver a reliable wireless network within your home. It uses mesh technology to create a single WiFi network so you'll be able to stay connected seamlessly as you move around your house. This set comes with 3 so you can connect them together to create strong single across larger areas.
Google WiFi supports AC1200 wireless speeds plus simultaneous dual band functionality to prevent lag across your network.
It supports simultaneous connections from a variety of devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops and more.
This router is recommended for larger homes or spaces of up to 418 square metres.
It comes with 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports per WiFi point plus WAN and LAN connectivity on the primary router.
Since each WiFi point connects via the same network, your devices will stay connected as you move around your home.
You can easily add additional Google WiFi points to your space as necessary without affecting your WiFi speed.
It will automatically connect your devices to the least connected channel within your network, to help ease lag.
The router can easily be setup and controlled via the Google WiFi app, which allows you to check what's connected, run speedtests, troubleshoot issues, setup guest networks and more.

I'm not sure if this warrants a comment/post here due to the limited stock but I was down in JB Hi-fi Oxford Street yesterday arvo and they had clearance on a number of their previous generation TVs, mainly the 75" ones.

Hisense 75P7 - $1588 I was told that this was the last one that they have, possibly the same for the other models below too.

    Samsung 75NU8000 - $1830

    LG 75UK65 - $1888

They also mentioned that they are offering $1 wall mount brackets + installation with TV purchases.

Might be nationwide so it could be worth checking out your local JB to see if they have anything on clearance.

    • $149 was already a good price, this is a bargain. Thought it was supposed to be a limited edition but bought ours over 6 months ago and they seem to have loads of stock every time I visit Bunnings. Maybe they are finally going to clear them now, or a new model coming soon.

  • Merged from Galv Steel Loading Ramps $36.75 Pair - Deleted Stock @ Bunnings
    Go to Deal

3 sets of loading ramps left after I purchased my set at 2.00pm Fri 13th.
Location in Nth Wollongong store: Aisle 19, 5th bay in from self-serve checkouts, 4th shelf from floor (eye level). Appears to be a deleted stock item, as it doesn't show up in a Bunnings website search.

Search ebay-Au for "sherlock loading ramps" to see exact same product from another seller for $179, including photos and description.

Each set is made up of two ramps and two safety straps. Each ramp: Length 1900 x 225 width. Max loading 450kgs per pair. Weight of set is 16.3kgs according to my luggage scales.

Product might be available at other Bunnings stores, but you would have to search yourself. Product is located in section where wheelbarrows are displayed.

    • So would something like this ship with a AU AC Mains Charger? As it says it ships from Amazon US.

      • hmm not sure, but shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement charger if it does come with the US one.

    • Many of laptops from America don't support free voltage. When you plug in, the motherboard may will be burned. Before you buy it, make sure check it

      • +1

Laptop power supplies (aka the power brick) are nowadays dual voltage on either 50hz or 60hz AC and can be used virtually world wide.

      • Laptop computers are meant for traveling, most (if not all) laptop power supplies nowadays support dual voltage 110-220V.

    • Very underwhelming CPU for 2020 standards

      • +2

For the price and overall specs I would say this is an acceptable compromise.

    • I was thinking of getting a school laptop, and currently, I'm looking at the Acer Swift 5 from Office works which comes to around $948. It seemed like a pretty solid laptop, but was thinking what would you guys recommend??? My budget is around $1000.

    • +1

Eh, the CPU is quite weak though - Quad core but AMD Excavator architecture is significantly poorer than their recent Ryzen chips and Intel Core i5 series.

Better to spend the extra for the Ryzen variant, about $750 AUD delivered.

Not too bad of a deal given previous i5 models without SSD were $684 delivered, though not as good as it could be given that the AUD has weakened since then.

    • It’s a 2016 cup on bar with a i3-5010U (multi-core) and i3-4010U (single-core).

    • AMD a12; "comaprable to i3-5000U". Released 2017.

Paired with the 16GB ram in what's appear to be a light-weightish laptop would be decent if it's around $600 for travel/business. Plenty of other quad core lappy at same price but either more recent or with AU adapters. I'd purely pass on this because of sorting any warranty.

    • +1

    • Oh bloody hell this CPU/die shortage is getting insane. OEM/ODMs are grabbing whatever the hell they can and sticking them in products!

The CPU is ballpark similar to the below.
      - Intel Core i5 2410M
      - Intel Core m3 7Y30
      - Intel Core i5 3437U

The GPU roughly aimed at a GeForce 920mx.

            • @jj1: Can I ask which store is this one?

              • @qzcbmo: Try your luck also at curious planet. They may have a couple lying around for decent price. I just price matched the battery at Bunnings as I got the last air (not fly more) at my local OW.

Great mouse. I got one last year for at work, and recently brought a second one for at home.

I don't see a huge benefit in going to the new MX Master 2S so these are well worth the price.

      • +4

I don't see a huge benefit in going to the new MX Master 2S so these are well worth the price.

Umm…this IS the MX master 2s…I think you mean not much benefit in going to new MX Master 3 ?

        • Thank you… yes that is what I meant.

      • I think the scrollwheel is a bit too noisy on the 2S. (def. not noisy enough to spend another ~100 bucks, as you said)

      • I'm still using the original MX Master (1). Do you think it's worth upgrading to this one?

        • It is for me. If you have a 4K or ultra-wide monitor. It'll be able to scan from edge to edge easily without having to lift up the mouse.

    • Meanwhile, Gerry is still listing $97, and I only have a HN in my area…. C'mon Gerry!

      • 79 at JB and ? $5 delivery is a good prices and dont have to leave the house

I bought one of these this morning upgrading my old original MX master and the Logitech Flow is amazing, would upgrade just for it.

      • If you use the online chat you may get them to price match. If they do they'll give you a code which you enter during the usual online ordering process. This will give you a credit of the difference (i.e. $28) and you'll pay the reduced amount.

        • Thanks, might give it a go.

Edit: Gave it a shot. No go on this price, but would not even match the $79 at JB Hifi, as it is "well below RRP/Market Value". HN have however, twice in the last 2-3 months, had this mouse for less than $79 on their website…

    • Pretty scarce stock around I imagine, been on clearance a while.

      • Nothing in WA.

    • It's been there for at least 2 weeks

    • This is an amazing price. i paid 85 a few weeks ago. amazing mouse love the design and tech.

      • Yeah same here… I already opened mine so no hope of returning or ask for a price match, perhaps you still have a chance.

    • Picked up the last one at Wentworthville Officeworks for $75. Looks like only some of the stores have it at the even lower clearance of $69. Great mouse!

    • +1

I just use a normal $9 logitech mouse and its fine for me. For some reason I feel compelled to buy this after all of the glowing reviews. The question is should I?

      • Best mouse I've ever used so far IMO, I'm yet to try the latest model but this one is really good

    • Does anyone know if this is similar to the mouse on my MX5500. Really want something with the same quality and functionality

      • +1

Way different. MX5500 was the best. I wish my left clicker didn't die and I've had 2. The thumb wheel is better on the MX too cos you can assign a kb button to each up and down click. The back and fwd buttons on the 2S is stupidly placed (vertically). Hence why they reverted back to the traditional horizontal placement on the 3. The overall size of the 2S/3 is bigger and heavier too.

        • +1

Thanks Mate. I think my MX5500 is starting to die. It sometimes doesn't want to turn on, hold enough charge and left click is starting to play up. Was hoping to get another lifetime out of it, but i need to upgrade. Thanks for the feedback. Everything I tried at the store was crap compared to this mouse. I love the side buttons personal. Just got my copy and paste on there for uni assessments. Might try to see if I can find a MX5500 mouse to replace it instead

    • None at Richmond VIC unfortunately.

What does the MX Master 3 have that this doesn't?

      Considering which to buy.

Merged from [QLD] Audio Technica AT-LP3 $195 (Was $445) @ JB Hi-Fi, Westfield Ctr, Northlakes
    Go to Deal

Hey folks, appears JB has some discontinued Audio Technica turntables going, I spotted this LP3 at Northlakes Chermside and there was also an LP5 with considerable discount. I'm guessing they're discontinued as I can no longer find their pages on the JB site.

These prices beat out the last time these were posted by $100: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/442748

The above post also includes a great review of these tables, providing a reasonable outline on what to expect from these turntables.

Would've picked up the LP3 myself buuuuut I don't have money to spend on records anyway, not in the Ozbargain spirit to ignore a deal like this - I know, haha.

Anyway, check out your local JB and you might find one of these available in black or white.

    • +4

      Maybe CDs have taken over!

      • Analogue music beats digital music

        • +1

Well, I was having a laugh but … I think you'd really have to find out if the original recording was done in analogue in the first place and then I think you would have to accept the limitations of the needle in groove thing. But yes, sometimes it sounds great.

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: Agreed, I have some extremely disappointing vinyls that have obviously been cut from a digital master and some beautiful ones that sound "better" (warmer, more natural, etc.) than high quality digital. Just a matter of preference, isn't it?

            • @bthaddad: It definitely is a matter of preference. I record my own music at 20bit and it sounds amazing and faithful to the original sounds. Until it becomes an MP3! Nothing wrong with good digital!

    • The black AT-LP3 is still on JB's website for $648, so I'm guessing it's just the white model that has been heavily discounted. An incredible price though for a quality player.

    • +2

Wow that's cheaper than some posh lazy susans..

    • +1

      Northlakes Chermside

So it's at both North Lakes AND Chermside?

      • +3

haha it's almost like the suburb names are now synonymous with Westfield

        • Oops, that's right! Can't tell I'm new to town.

      • Maybe North Lakes === West Fields?

    • So how much was the lp5?

      • +1

Can't remember sorry. In the $400-$500 range.

      • Just went back this weekend and discount price has a further 30% off, LP5 is $350~, total steal. :)

    • This is an excellent player. I upgraded to this after I started my vinyl journey on a AT-LP60-USB.

Payed $440 for mine so this is a steal. Would recommend to any person looking at getting into Vinyl.

Just beware, It gets quite expensive if you like me, collect 5 variants of 1 album!.

    Hey peeps

First time post, long time lurkgainer.

Found this awesome deal for a Ryobi 36V Chainsaw Kit at Bunnings Melville. There was 1 left on the shelf.

Not sure if this meant to be on clearance as their website doesn't reflect it. Please see images of the clearance tag.
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-36v-4-0ah-35cm-brushless-c…

Note: The chainsaw scanned up as $499 but they still honoured the clearance tag.

great just what we need a way for hoarders to hoard more food, can we ban these deals!?

go hoarders, neg away, everyone hates your selfishness!

      • ban freezer dealers?

        talk about over reaction

maybe we should ban petrol, because fill up cars that are used to drive to supermarkets to hoard

        • Better idea, ban the virus then we’ll all be safe…

          • @mapax: ban the stupidity of stockpiling, - or exporting to over seas to make a buck, or buying to sell on ebay for 9 bux a roll

(note i dont have an issue with a small contingency plan - having a couple to a few weeks of food on hand) what i do have an issue with it people filling trollies up with goods when the shelves are empty. its too late to stockpile now.

            • @wisc: I agree, especially on the exporting. A friend is a security guard at a meat processing facility and over the past few weeks they have ramped up exports. He said a conservative guess would be 30% more trucks have been sent out over the past 2 weeks and they’re all destined for the airport and not local wholesalers.

  • Merged from [VIC] PXC 2x18V 356MM BRUSHLESS CHAINSAW KIT 3.0ah $142.00, Clearance @ Bunnings, Mentone
    Go to Deal

Edit: To clarify: This is a Chainsaw Kit with a dual charger, 2x 3.0ah batteries, as well as the chainsaw skin which takes 2x 18v batteries to run. This is the larger bar 356mm version.

Saw 5 of these on sale at Bunnings Mentone to the right as you enter at the front of the store. I took one so there's 4x left. The guy said they're run-out so once they're gone, they're gone.

I'm fairly sure these kits used to be $215.

The charger and 2x 3.0AH batteries alone are worth >$100 if bought separately.

    • +2

Thanks OP, happen to see any deals on hockey masks??

    • +1

      Saw 5 of these

      Very clever.

    • Is this 2 chainsaws or 2 batteries. The title suggests 2 chainsaws.

      • I think this is the line where they use 2x 18v batteries to achieve 36v of power. Those are denoted as PXC 2x if I remember correctly.

    • BEST… CHAINSAW… EVER! Well, obviously not but even at their full price they're excellent machines!

    • -2

      2 X 1.5amp batteries. Zoom into photo.

      • +1

        They are definitely 3.0ah batteries.

      • Yeah, zoomed in and they're definitely 2x 3.0Ah!

    • Not a bad deal OP. Nice work.

Seems they are doing a general clean out of these. I saw a Ozito chainsaw kit for $90 at Frankston a few days ago (Charger, 3ah battery, sharper and chainsaw)
      It was this one https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-chainsaw-and-sharp…

      • Wow that's a good price.

I wanted to 2x 18v larger bar version for the extra grunt.

I don't know if they're replacing with a new model or just discontinuing.

        • Yeah fair call. The extra grunt will come in handy if you're slicing firewood. The one I saw is probably more suited to the casual user, who just needs to do the odd prune

      • +1

The normal saw is OK but the larger 2x 18V Brushless wipes the floor with it! I know, I have multiples of both :)

    • Geez this is a good price, will check local tomorrow

    • $142 is the system price. Was lucky enough to get one for half that, but they were all gone after that. The skin only is currently $199. Great saw for the price. Used mine with my existing 4.0ah batteries and the saw lasted longer than I did.

[New Old Stock] Quickshot Maverick 2 controllers for NES - $7 at PK Pacific Ocean Variety Shop Eastwood. I had a look on eBay, and these appear to go for $50+ online.

    https://i.postimg.cc/qvH33CwV/IMG-20200409-143132.jpg

They're closing down in 2 weeks so they have 30% off everything.

These appear to be new old stock, with a 1991 copyright date on the box.

Quite a few very old pieces of stock at this shop if you want to do some essential homeware shopping. Apparently they've been at this location for 20 years.

    • Wow. Imagine not cleaning out your shed for 30 years

      • +2

It's an interesting shop, I must say. I bought a cool looking car-shaped VHS Rewinder for $4 with a 1987 date code on it. Again, the same deal with these controllers - new old stock.

I'm in the process of digitising a whole bunch of ancient VHS tapes for the ads and putting them on Youtube, so it might actually come in handy. I probably could have bought the controllers and flogged them on eBay, but I'd rather let people who are actually interested in them buy them .

Personally, I'm a bit disappointed that I'd never visited the shop before a few days ago. I love finding new old stock items in shops like this. Autopro in Maroubra and Dimmeys in Goulburn are pretty good for that kind of thing (they had an original Club lock with a 7 digit phone number for service on it).

There's no way they'll be clearing out their stock in the next 2 weeks, though. Maybe if they drop everything to 70% off they might be able to.

What's so special about these? Buy them for $1.50 each at Kmart.

      • I've got Joseph Joseph chopping boards and measuring cups. I really like the aesthetics and the way they've been designed to save space (important when you've only got a small kitchen).

Guess I'll find out if they're any better than the $5 utensils I've gone through and chucked out so far.

        • You know what saves even more space? Storing utensils in a drawer/cupboard and not on the countertop ;)

        • Just received mine, simple things like stopping the actual spoon surface from touching the table makes a huge difference to my messy cooking.

    • Are they available for anyone? I cant get them :(

    • Picked up a seemingly very similar set for $10 at woolies from an earlier deal, quite a premium here just for extra tongs. They are great however, love how they 'elevate' when laying flat

      • I just sit them on a plate or chopping board. No point in my mind having them elevated if they'll just drip on the kitchen bench anyway.

  • Merged from [Open Box] LG UltraGear 27GL850-B 27" 1440p 144Hz G-Sync Monitor $699 with $0 delivery @ Shopping Express
    Go to Deal

This is for people who are willing to buy an open-box version of this monitor. It's being sold by Shopping Express which is a reputable company, and is also covered by 3-year manufacturer warranty so shouldn't be too risky.

This is the cheapest I've seen this monitor ($799 otherwise on SE; $760 elsewhere), which is one of the best monitors for 1440p 144hz gaming out there.

    • +1

What is the original price of this box?

      • +1

They can be bought for about $765 at the moment.

      • Opened box, is a nicer way of saying 2nd hand or display model, which is worse and it's being ON 24/7

    • I managed to snag one of these for $679 brand new from Futu Online on eBay (which is associated with Shopping Express). It was a 20% discount coupon with eBay that let me purchase it for so low. Not a neg on the deal, just for those who are wondering if it's possible to get it for lower.

      • They would have been before the AUD fall and Covid-19, pricing margins are a lot worse now.

        • AUD isn't doing too bad lately. 65c today.

        • Yup, I purchased it in early February when Covid-19 was ramping up so fair point.

    • Why are they open box would be the question.
Were they demo displays, returns etc.

      • Per their site:

This is where you will find quality products, but with not so pretty boxes. They carry the full warranty terms as new, but because the box or packaging may not be up to our standard, we've lowered the price for you. These prices are amazing compared to normal products, and the quality is just the same!

        https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/opened-box-sale

      • May ex Melbourne F1 monitors, like those TVs posted a few weeks back?

    • +3

I wonder if these are returned units from people who are looking for the perfect screen. I bought a gaming monitor from them months ago and they were great when I had out of box issues with my monitor sample (very bad light leakage). Sent mine back and got another one within 2 weeks. They also said they will keep swapping mine for another time if the second don't work out (and then a full refund).

Not that I am implying they will send you bad screen samples, I mean I don't know. But don't let this prevent you from getting a good deal. I think $699 is a good price if its full box contents, etc.

      • Would be my guess. Returns

    • +1

Why is the 32" version of this monitor often cheaper than the 27"? Is it a different panel or is the popularity of the smaller size the only reason it costs more?

      • Yeah the 32 inch is a VA panel. The 27 is a very decent IPS

    • Can't see why this second hand display model which has been On 24/7 be a bargain at that price.

      • +1

If anyone bought - I would be interested to see how many hours the unit has been turned on for, which i available on the on-screen display/menus.
I would be checking that on delivery to ensure it wasn't display.

    • is it out of stock? order cant go thru.

      • Looks to be back in stock if you were still interested.

I have Kevo gen 1, They're quite unreliable, possibly why they have a few returned boxes. I'd say the yale deal is much better it will save you a life of frustration

      • I have a gen 2. It is quite unreliable too. Returned one after the lock got stuck. The new one worked for a few months but that too is playing up and I can't connect to it via bluetooth anymore. Currently it is a very expensive manual door lock.

    Hello everyone

Just saw these deals- so sharing them.

-Also saw a demo Ryobi battery operated blower (just Skin) for $60 (down from $200 something)

    • How weird, I called and asked about the pressure washer and they said they had 3 available for sale but they were $179.

  • JB Hi-fi In-Store Bundle Negotiated Deal. Unsure if good or bad but thought I can post here. They had 19 units showing in-stock at the time of sale Sydney Warehouse.

    Samsung 82" 82RU8000WXXY $2185.00
Extended Warranty 3 additional years $131.00
EZYMOUNT VLM6600B XLARGE Full Motion $220.00
    Wall Mounted Installation $299.00
Crest Platinum 4 Socket Surge + TV Pro $65
    Delivery $0.00
    Total 2900.00

    • Bit hard to compare but I got the same TV on its own a few weeks ago for $2440 from Good Guys. In-store negotiated deal ($2999 on sale at the time). Might be useful for someone that searches the model and views this.

I'm sure if you attempted to remove all the up-sells the $2185 price wouldn't be held because that's where they made most of their money.

      • +1

You might be right although I was given the impression that they were under the pump to sell installations which cannot be discounted.

Included RRP of the upsells and the prices charged to me just in case anyone finds this post.

        • Extended Warranty 3 additional years (RRP $203) $131.00
        • EZYMOUNT VLM6600B XLARGE Full Motion (RRP $499) $220.00
        • Wall Mounted Installation RRP $299.00 (no discount)
        • Crest Platinum 4 Socket Surge + TV Pro (RRP $129) $65
        • Delivery for Mount and TV (was $60) $0.00

I still think it's a good deal in $2.9K for 82" RU8000 Samsung TV with extended warranty (total 5.5 years) + delivery + JB's top quality mount + installation + surge protector.

Ironically they were only upselling installation. I was the one after everything else because it's a new thing for me (don't have an old big TV that's being replaced)

    • does officeworks pricebeat other officeworks?

      • +10

All stores nationwide have the same prices, it's just a case of is there any stock left. Something this late in the clearance cycle and this cheap means it's very unlikely that your local store will have stock. Based on the picture of the ticket that OP posted there's only one left, and that means OP bought the last one at this particular store.

        • not according to easternculture though, but I trust you more since you're associated with OW :), will give it a shot tomorrow

          • +5

@ln28909: Someone at a particular store can mark down products manually, but it's often not common for high value items like new headphones (at least at the one I worked at). Cases are often difficult to get rid of because every case only fits one or two models, so those sorts of items are more commonly manually marked down. Obviously if there's a price that's manually marked down then that won't apply nationwide,

In this case the product code listed (INBSOLO3WBK) is not on the website (or officeworks stock checker, the model INBSOLO3BK is technically different). This means it's fairly late in the clearance cycle and not just something that's been manually marked down by one store.

I'd suggest giving a call and quoting the correct product code written on the ticket (INBSOLO3WBK) not the incorrect one that OP listed at the top, and seeing if them or any nearby stores have stock. It's pretty unlikely at this point, so I'd save the drive unless they can confirm there's one there that's scanning for the correct price.

        • There's a ton of stock down in South Australia, so are you saying that the headphones will be priced at $35 here too?

          • +1

@dogsryummy: It’s a different product code. OP has linked stock on a different code at $297. The $35 ones are INSOLO3WBK. Stock check on these are invalid!

          • @dogsryummy: If they have the product code INBSOLO3WBK then they will be at the $35 price assuming the manager at OP's store didn't manually mark the prices down. If it's the code INBSOLO3BK then it'll be the regular price of $297.

      • Might still be worth checking

    • +3

Could book a return flight which would cost below the RRP hehe.

    • +3

Apparently its not a real price peeps, don't waste your time calling or going into store..

      • OP bought it from Malaga though right?

        • +4

He just doesn't want us going there and taking them all

          • @dotMonkey: Haha believe what you want.
I would have put 2 aside if the price was legit..
Spoke with attendants at both stores. Great find by the OP!
Right PLACE at the right time!!

        • Yes. I guess it was the last one at that particular branch

          • @MOTORCAR: was the other colour also on clearance, or was there none left?

      • Calling is the stupidest thing to do. I used to work at Target and if someone like you called us with a price this crazy we would just tell you no and take them all off the shelf then divi up with other staff.

    • +2

      Old stock version maybe?

If so, might not be worth wasting your time on. Bigw were clearing some old beats lines for around the same price a while back. Bought some but the battery had been sitting so long they couldnt be charged.

    • +3

Surely this is a price error? I mean the Beats house sound is garbage, but this still seems off.

    • It's store specific

      • I call bullshit, your comment was posted 53 minutes ago and that Officeworks closes at 7pm which was over an hour ago. Am I missing something here?

    • +3

I believe the one OP picked up is this one: (2018 model)

      Part Number MP582PA/A

And the current one available at Officeworks for $297

      has this Part Number MX432PA/A

JB HiFi has the old part number (??)
      https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/beats-solo-3-wireless-on-…

    • This is a mad price!

    • I was in Officeworks North Ryde this morning and was looking round the headphone section. Didn't notice any yellow clearance tags, so I suspect it's not all stores.

      • +2

Should still scan up at the clearance price if they have the exact model number…. according to earlier posts/predictions anyway

    • -7

Good find at that ONE store with ONE item left in stock…. not listed on web site or in stock anywhere else. Extremely lucky to find another one elsewhere I would think…

Don’t you have to demonstrate sufficient quality for it to be considered a deal? I remember having a Bunnings listing I posted removed because there was only a handful of stock on clearance…

      • +5

        Oh don't be a sourpuss.

Do you just go around to every OW for a living? Lol

        Haha. Shopaholics

    • +1

Hi OP< did you manage to get that $35 Beats ?

      • I already got my beats last night. Wondering if I should also get those ones too.

        • +1

Really, can you show me the receipt please ?

        • Show us the receipt mate ..and you are a legend ..

      • say what? where is that post.

    • Officeworks stock check: https://ow.c0r3.xyz/index.php

      No product found.

      • Older model (probably discontinued)

    • +1

Guessing OP works there and can print these.

      • Unfortunately not….

    • Why only WA.

      • You can check at your local OW…you might be lucky

        • Won't happen in Sydney.

    • is it a deal if that is the only one available in australia at that price? minimum quantity etc. more a forum post than an actual bargain as you seem to be the only one who can get.

      • I've tried to buy one of them @ Jandakot was advised that since it was on clearance, all stock ran out at Jandakot branch but you can try other OW branches. Best of luck to all

    • So this not available in Sydney at a below $45 price? Damn I am on the lookout for some decent cheap wireless rechargeable headphones but definitely don't want to spend more than $65 otherwise I'll just get some Taotronics again but want to try a different one and compare the sound quality and feel comfort levels.

My current TT-BH22's are filthy from sweat and cleaning job might do some experiments on it with cleaning and see if they still work after excessive drying and airing.

    • @OP If you are still there, can you buy this/yesterdays beats and I'll pay you?

      • He's gone to TGG. And no more Beats for that price.

        • Haha. Left the TGG….feeling monitored 😂😂

      • I'd love to help but unfortunately sold Out.

  • Merged from [NSW] Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats 3 $98 (Was $258) @ Officeworks (Coffs Harbour)
    Go to Deal

Not an all time low, but in saying that theyre also not that fluro yellow colour as seen in the historic low of $74 here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/407672 .

Unsure of stock/prices in other stores but Coffs Harbour had several.

    Price match maybe?

  • Merged from ASUS TUF A15 4800H + 2060 $1,898 + $100 eGift Card eBay Plus Required

Found this on eBay with Shopping Express however quantity is low so does not qualify as a deal.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ASUS-TUF-A15-15-6-Ryzen7-4800H-5…
or if that one runs out this one is $21 more to include a "free" bag lol
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ASUS-Gaming-Laptop-TUF-A15-15-6-…

Basically, deal works with the $200 off for $2,000+ spend with eBay plus. Have messaged shopping express and they will send an invoice that you can submit to ASUS for the tax time promotion for a $100 eGift card.

Works out to be just under $1,800 for the new AMD 4800H + RTX2060 + 144hz screen + USB-C DP 1.4 (should work with Rift S whereas the old TUF models did not) which I think is a fantastic deal.

Downsides to this laptop according to the interwebs is that the screen brightness / colour representation is on the crappy side so NOT a good laptop for video / photo / image production. Also runs wifi 5 + 16gb single stick ram (most probably) but these are hot changeable and upgrade-able at a later stage if you so wish.

    Hope this helps someone!

    • Shame about the low quantity. There's only one left. Also, is the grey variant not available in Australia?

      • Well, that's the thing I bought the "last one" and it's still showing last one…soooo unsure how real that actually is or fake low quantity to increase urgency hahaha.

        • I was going to get it until I noticed it's the 48wh battery spec.

          • @dingle: Was not aware, that's actually a + for me as the lower battery spec allows space for a 2.5" drive so I can slap my old 1TB SSD in there without having to buy another NVME stick for more storage.

Sucks tho for those that want the long portal battery route.

    • waiting for kogan to do a decent price on these so i can use my $500 voucher, but decent price otherwise

Four chairs one table and one umbrella. It’s an okay value deal. I saw four in castle hill. Other store stock may vary

    • +1

great price, i had similar 3 piece set for $50 from bunnings, used it for a year and then sold it on gumtree for 60$.

      • -9

Ripping off other people is not something you should be proud of..

        • It’s not ripping off if you assemble it and sell it. These things are a pain in the ass to install. The amart furniture set took me 1.5 hours for 7 pieces.

          • -5

@sunnyc: Yet you used it for a year and sold it for more than you bought it for. That's ripping off someone.

            • +1

@reg401: So if I buy a new Ferrari for $10,000 I’m obligated to sell it for less than that when I decide to sell? I bought my house 10 years ago for $500k, but it’s worth over a million now. Please me what I have to sell it for.

  • Merged from Samsung Galaxy S10 128GB (Green) $778 @Officeworks (in-Store Clearance ONLY)
    Go to Deal

Hey guys, longtime hunter first time poster!

Moseyed on over to Officeworks today for some light printing and upon my leaving spotted this killer deal.
Been in the market for a new phone for a while and had my eye on the S10 so I was more than pleased at this price.

The catch is it's only in Green so if you're like me (and I know most of you are) a phone case is much more appealing than an extra $300.
In store only by the looks of it as it is a clearance item. Purchased at the Mentone store, 2 units left. Didn't confirm if it was nationwide.

    Happy hunting!

Not the cheapest price but pretty good considering it’s hard to find in stock. Spotted at Castle Hill Good Guys. From what I can see a few left in stock.

    • +1

I have 1. The best oled tv in picture quality.

      • How does this compare to LG C9? I hear OS is basic & sluggish? Also warranty could be an issue considering Panasonic is leaving oz.

        • Warranty not affected.
Who actually uses a oled of this top notch quality TV and doesn't used a Xbox, PC or HTPC is beyond me…

        • I use shield tv so os is not problem for me. I care more about picture quality. And Panasonic oled are considered better then any other brand. I follow Vincent from hdtv. He knows more then me. I don't have or seen lg c9 side by side. So can't compare. Get extended warranty. Then you'll be dealing with good guys. Only Panasonic tv is leaving not whole Panasonic. They'll still honour the warranty. Hopefully. Good luck

      • +1

        Seconding this motion.
The picture quality is out of this world.

    • There are few left at Costco Auburn & Casula.

      • -2

How much are they selling it for at CostCo if you don't mind me asking?

    • +1

OP, it’s a display model, pls update the title

      • Hey mate when I spoke to the guys, there were a few in stock not just the display model :)

        • I called and they said display stock only.. Inconsistent answers.

          • @Quickshot: I left about an hour ago, so maybe they sold out the stock they told me about. I’ll update, thanks!

    • Do we know max peak brightness in bits for this TV? Display looked bit dim compare to LG in store, could be store settings… not sure.

      • Could be because it's been kept running for thousands of hours at a high brightness "tv store" setting.

I would never buy a display model for something that wears down when in use. This aren't just "display models", they are "demonstrators". OLED can get badly damaged if abused, e.g. burn-in, etc. Just ask this poor guy.

I know it sounds crazy to buy a pair of scissors for $155. Wait a minute, look at the 4.6 feedback.
BTW, it is on special. Stock runs fast.

    • +4

Ummm… nope. Nothing says slightly cashed up bogan like a set of knives that includes the overpriced matching scissors. A true connoisseur would use different brands for different blades. OK, except a TV too big for the room, thats pretty bogan too.

I may have made some of that up.

    • Hmmmm….nah. Scissors I use in the kitchen need to be able to come apart and go in the dishwasher. Not sure these do this.

Another Raspberry Pi 4 deal, not as cheap as some but with zippay $20 discount, you get the 4GB model for just under $80. Only 5 units left so get one while you can.

    • I have an original pi and a piv2 and bought one of these a little while ago.. be sure to order some micro HDMI ended cables… not sure why they went with this as its an unusual connector. Also USB C powered - so its not a drop in replacement for a current pi setup. Guess thats just progress for ya.

      • With micro HDMI, maybe space issue having 2 side by side of they stick with standard HDMI? The power draw is a big jump from the previous Pi's, but I'm look forward to getting one for some retro gaming or multimedia box setup.

Window shopping for watches on Iconic and saw that they were listing this for $1,825.00 (https://www.theiconic.com.au/versace-univers-gmt-43mm-695970…)

Not really my type but may be a good gift for those here. Especially with that savings.
