    Came here with the same sentiment…WHY would you pay $500 let alone $1474 for consumer grade gear to distribute shitty NBN. I bought my Deco M5 setup (2 APs, 300 sqm under the roof area across 2 levels) for under $200 and it works brilliantly.

    1) It's 2024. Gigabit internet is common. Multi-gigabit is coming.
    2) AP aren't just for internet speed. Some people need fast local network transport speeds.
    
    Would I spend $1,474 on a AP? No.

      All this eBay seller is doing is selling used watches. There's nothing that they'd do to be 'refurbishing' them. Apple doesn't even do it.
      
      Apple Watches on the 'Refurb' store at Apple at just new white box stock, as they don't refurbish them. They aren't common on the refurb store, and it's typically either to reduce the stock they have or cycle devices that are hitting their "shelf life" limit etc. and are being cycled out for newer stock. This is based off my own personal experience, and discussions with a few corp Apple staff.
