                @johnmelb: Yeah thanks for the detailed reply. I'm more interested buying the 6.1 inch iPhone 16 128GB flavour.

                It's currently $1397 at JBHiFi for the 128GB so I'll minus $200 from 1262.59 which is $1062.59 final outright cost.

                Just concerned about the red flag and/or credit hit you might get with cancelling 24/36 month plans.

                *There was a discussion somewhere in the Samsung Galaxy 24 ultra JB deal about the red flag from the Telstra/JB system. No one can confirm 100% they were blocked from future sign ups from JB/Telstra plan.

                This is my first time trying to use this plan & cancel to get the iPhone 16. Never tried before.

      Slightly unrelated to this actual deal…
      but I bought a refurb 12 mini from this seller almost a year ago. Listing said "new battery", but battery failed completely a few weeks ago (could not charge or keep charge). Apple warning message came up saying unrecognised part and it needed to be serviced.
      Contacted seller, a few back and forth messages, posted it back under their warranty policy, and received a full refund about a week later. Overall a good outcome and pretty happy with the seller for doing that.

    I have been waiting for a deal on one of these lenses and have been watching this listing.
    I am not familiar with this seller though so hopefully this will go well (fingers crossed).
    Anyhow seems a good price for an excellent, weather sealed F2.8 telephoto zoom lens.

    What I like about this lens:
    Weather sealing
    Integrated Lens Hood, slides back when not needed.
    Function button on the lens can be set on the camera to e.g. lock the focus.
    F2.8 throughout the 40-150 (80-300 equivalent) zoom range.
    Internal zoom, so lens does not extend.
    Fast focus.
    Sharp optics.
    Should be good for portraits, sports.

    What I do not like as much
    Lens is a bit heavy
    Hood can can be a bit fragile

        Confirmed.. mine arrived two days ago..
        picked it up today.

        Upgraded the ram to 2x8gb sticks. upgraded the SSD to a 500gb and upgraded the wifi to intel ax200,
        room for a 2.5 drive as well.. The sata connector is there are well..

        pretty impressive for just over $300

        Zen 3 cores as well… not zen 2…

        given a 5600G CPU costs around $180 - 200.. thats $140 for the screen memory, SSD, wifi and the rest of the chassis, plus battery…

        Yeh been thinking about it too but I've only got 50/20 and run Wireguard separately under Proxmox so not sure if it's worth it yet.

        I think if you've got anything faster than 100mbit especially if you're using intrusion detection probably worth the upgrade.

        (It just occurred to me that the Ultra has the controller built in so thats another thing you can remove (although again I have this running under Proxmox so not really any difference to me)

        I recently upgraded to this from a USG-PRO-4 and IMO it's been worth it.

        I have 1000/40 internet so can have IPD/DPI turned on, plus I've decomm'ed my VM running the controller software, plus it's smaller and cooler than the USG-PRO (and cooler than the USG-3, but slightly bigger).

        The changeover process was really quick, backup config from old controller, and restored backup to this.

        There was a good article I used, UniFi: Migration USG to Cloud Gateway Ultra, which helped as well.

        The downside is you can't use the inbuilt controller to manage remote networks (which I was doing with my controller VM), so I'm replacing them all with these or the UX-Express.

      I have this for my setup. It's a lot more stable and just works over my previous set up with Proxmox and OpnSense. Opnsense was annoying as it would break due to an update or something and I had weird issues with packet lost until a new update fixed it.

      I bought one after having a few issues with getting the TPG FTTB up and running with the NTU and pppoe connection because of the crappy TP-link device supplied failed pppoe config….ironically I went through and configured the UGC with pppoe successfully, configured everything as required….shut it down, and swapped out devices…. pppoe failed to connect after reboot and after a number of further reboots trying to get things up and running dhcp stopped working - reset to factory settings and now pppoe fails!…. I'm guessing it's more likely a TPG backend issue whereby I might need to leave everything offline for a period of time to before re-connecting from the UCG…

      I wonder if others had success with using it on TPG FTTB?
