      $159 for new

      • Yeah, but these are essentially new. Items that were opened and sent back. Up to you if you're interested in making that ~$15 tradeoff.

Isn't there supposed to be an extra 2% for ebay plus? Or have they now removed all incentives for ebay plus?

    • Not this time. They have a special 6% off for plus users.

Looks pretty cheap $169 i7 6700, atx case, should be able to fit a low power GPU

  • https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/186661152606 decent price for a 16gb NUC, even if it is a 7th gen cpu. if you're running proxmox or something you're much more likely to be RAM-limited than cpu-limited anyway.

  • I recently bought a refurbished laptop from ebay but had to return it because the battery was only functioning at around 50% capacity. How has anyones' experience buying refurbished laptops? Since theres no mention of the battety health, hows to way to tackle this? Any thoughts?

    • i bought one before and just returned it due to change of mind plus the condition is not what i was expected (the listing has generic photos) they took it just fine free shipping label.

Since theres no mention of the battety health, hows to way to tackle this?
perfect for your case then. if they mentioned battery 50% and you bought it you have no case to argue. they didnt say, their fault.
just say 50 is way too low for your usage scenario (study etc)

    • If theres no mention of battery health then message the seller. Tbh ebay should include mandatory info from the seller to provide the year when the laptop was released and battery health. These are vital info for the buyer!

  • damn sony headphones are sold out
