Ocarina FREE from iTunes store

380

Ocarina in collaboration with The Faad App by FreeAppADay.com will be Free for a limited time.
FREE FOR JUST 72 HOURS: the gift of music is yours for the holidays. One of Apple's All-TIme Top 20 Apps, Smule’s Ocarina turns your iPhone into an ancient flute. With no musical training required, you'll blow away your friends and family with your new talent.

For the first time in history, Ocarina is free for everyone to enjoy.

Sensitive to your breath, touch and movements, Ocarina is more versatile than an actual flute:
• Blow air into your mic to create music
• Touch combinations of holes to play notes
• Tilt to change vibrato rate and depth
• Advanced users can change keys and modes, including C-Major and Zeldarian mode

With Ocarina, you can also hear people learning to play around the world:
• Listen in on Ocarina players all over the world just by tapping the globe icon
• Rate your favorite performances
• Name your Ocarina so others can listen to you play
• Share your favorite performances with family and friends via e-mail
• Record and archive your favorite performances on your own “My Ocarina” web page

It's great to see a positive comment likes yours instead of the obligatory "damn it one star because I paid for it and it's now free!!" comments in iTunes.

  • Good app! Much easier to enable the "touch mode" than blowing in to the microphone, and probably better for your iphone!

damn and I paid .. er… I have no idea what I paid for it…. it is funny how people moan about 'losing' money when apps go free.

This is a really nice app… kids love it… I am useless at playing it, but its still excellent… just be aware of kids who blow spit in to the mic… (ie most kids)

  • Great app, bought it some time last year for $1.19, though haven't used it in a while…

Check out their website for the sheet music

lmao I bought this to 'show off' when the iphone was fairly new. My friends/family would literally 'freak' out at the technology! They'd be like 'no way! show me show me!" Great app!

  • Thx for the notification, never could justify purchase. But the price is right at the moment :D

  • Awesome! Now I can be hardcore and play Zelda tunes on my ocarina.
    plays the song of storms
