Excellent. Hopefully they will have Bladerunner, and in blu-ray. They have been poor at delivering the blu-ray's recently.

      Great movie.

      • Highly recommend War for the Planet of the Apes …out on dvd's too…

Cheers!! Thanks OP. Good timing too as the kiosks a usually replenished with the latest releases on Wednesdays.

  • Does anyone know if any of these kiosks stock 4k Blu Rays?

    • Never seen any. Lucky to find blu rays.

  • Is this valid today (17th) or starts tomorrow? Thanks

    • Today, just got Bladerunner on bluray at my kiosk tonight.

  • Any blockbuster codes ?

  • Does video ezy still exist?

I'm shocked people use these. Considering how convenient online video had become - even legitimate video - I can't really understand people bothering with these - especially considering the potential for fines.

Only excuse I can think of is that their home internet isn't good enough for streaming. However unless you live in a spot that still has ADSL1 as it's only connection, one or two of these rentals is probably the same cost as upgrading whatever plan you are on to a more capable connection.

A lot of people just stick to old fashioned tech

Maybe I could find a good deal for an anti-adhesive for them

      Cheaper, higher quality.

I've no idea why people bother with streaming when they are trying to stitch you up $5.99 for a 48 hour 'rental' - and then you have to pay for the bandwidth on top.

      • Netflix is $15 a month and you can get 4k

        • Have to say, I get more use out of the kiosks than I do out of Netflix.

The kiosks have new releases, whereas Netflix is only after a longer period, and then only a very few movies.

Frankly the only real draw of Netflix are their originals, and then only some of them.

        • @sane: I never understand the attraction of new releases. I'm happy to watch whatever I can find on Netflix mostly

@MikeKulls: so you haven't seen Captain Underpants ?

Because I can stream 4k, or at least Blu-ray quality, often weeks before the movie is released in Australia, from the comfort of my couch. Takes less than 2 minutes, and I don't have to worry about returns, or scratches.

    • Some of us are still waiting on the NBN rollout, and I'm currently on the end of a ~5000m cable run from my exchange. As such, I'm lucky to break 3mbps on a good day. Also, I'm fussy… I prefer to rip and encode my own movies.

      • Fair enough.

Tried renting a movie from google play, downloaded it assuming its saving on google drive, couldnt run on TV asking me to delete from my other device, deleted and tried to download on TV …but said its expired ( all within 8 hours of renting) than decided to go back to video ezy..

  • But it's free .
    See post ∆ above ∆ .

  • Thanks. Watching bladerunner blu-ray to9.

It's not exactly free though if you've got to pay to get to a kiosk.

My nearest kiosk is a 3.6km drive away or a 2.8km walk.

I could download the film in HD in the time in takes to get to/from the kiosk….and I've got to return it…no thanks. Good exercise though so I won't neg the deal.

You can stream almost any Torrent, so if you can find it, and your internet is capable, you can be watching the movie as soon as you click the little magnet on your preferred torrent site.

  • why does this come out at times i don't have time to claim -_-

  • +1

Blade runner 2049 is currently video ezy movie guarantee til 31.01.2018, if no copy available at the time you try to rent then call 1300 067 113 whilst still at the kiosk to get promo code for free rental next time you try to rent it.

  • Id think first before using these kiosks. Have you read any reviews on product review site. Charging overtime on returned dvds. Which were returned on time. Hard to get money back. Bad customer service.
