story is one of those "apocalypse" survival situations, or is it?!

As children, Kathy, Ruth, and Tommy spend their childhood at an idyllic and secluded English boarding school. As they grow into adults, they must come to terms with the complexity and strength of their love for one another while also preparing for the haunting reality awaiting them.

  • just my opinion but not enough content on disney plus to ask such a high price. the only thing I want to watch is Alien Romulus which they still refuse to license to any other service!.

also like Binge, their UI is pretty bad. admitedly not as bad as Binge which cuts off a single sentence of the synopsis and doesn't let you read the rest, but disney is a close second in terms of ease of browsing. it just separates into tabs for categories and then lists every single thing they have, which isn't much but in a list it's difficult to find something.

    • yeah I think I just about tried every streaming service available. so you can probably understand why i'm upset about the current state sometimes when I've been through the whole Recurring Free Trials->Paid only->Paid with Ads->Premium Pay Wall content->Paid Premium with Ads (this is the latest one they are pulling on you).

I used to have an issue with money management and I would lose track of subscriptions regularly where I ended up wondering why I was broke every month. I also never subbed annually because that's a big chunk, even with Prime I only sub the month that I need it. for Prime at the end of the year always ends up less than what annual sub costs.

but now at most 2 subs at once. sometimes 3 with a slight overlap. it helps keep track of everything without putting it in my notes.

Paying to rent individual digital movies has always been a weird concept to me. I don't understand why there is a market.

Maybe I am in the minority.

  • "Rent Never Let Go" - words of the day for sure lol
