Not sure worth calling this out. But Moana-2 is Coming to Disney+ on 12th March.

      Very forgettable. Literally. I watched it in the cinema, and I only remember small bits.

      I couldn't tell you the plot or if there were even songs in it. I suppose there are because it's sequel to the first one.

        This was originally intended to be a lower budget (than a movie) Disney Plus series and somewhere in development was pivoted to being a movie instead. From what I have heard it shows a lot of the seams of being cobbled together out of a show, especially in some of thew animation quality. Frozen 2 on the other hand was always meant to be a full theatrical sequel.

      Granted, I’ll probably agree with you that they watch all kinds of slop, which is very much telling of how devoid of creativity modern Hollywood is when even shitpost memes get lore and quality fanworks that surpass modern Marvel slop.

      Both my child and I enjoyed it more than the first one, and with the exception of the rapping Australian, I thought it was a good film overall.

    We saw the movie a few days ago with kids. It felt like moneymaking scheme by Disney.
    Even the kids (3 & 10) told us they don’t need to see this again any time soon. I got bored 20 minutes into the movie - songs looked like they were cobble to keep it all together.

    I'm far from a Disney nut, I saw the first one with my eldest, not when it came out but a couple years later at the cinema in a rerelease or something. I liked it. The rock was fine, the main girl had a good voice, fun songs and stuff. Remember the basic gist of the plot.

    Saw the second one with her a month or so back on a 6 buck weekend session, and it was just so eh. Not memorable, no real catchy songs…nothing about it was bad, just, completely unnecessary. I liked the first one more than I thought I would, not enough to rewatch or anything but it was good. I went into the second one being half way keen, I don't even remember what she went off for in this one. I vaguely remember a couple things at best that I'm not even that sure of.

    The kids will probably like it, but even then, I don't know, mine didn't really care either way for it.
