Anyone flown Jetstar Business before? Obviously, it's nowhere near as good as a full-service airline's business but just curious to hear thoughts.

I like it. Plenty of room (I'm tall), they keep you fed and watered.

Nothing like full service business but fine for the price and the distance you fly.

Went to Hawaii and back in October. Seats were much like domestic business class or Qantas premium Economy on international flights. Meals and services was actually surprisingly excellent I thought. Most people probably wouldn't pay the extra but I rarely get to go on holidays do to having too much work to do so want to enjoy them when I do. Overall I bought it expecting a little better than Qantas Economy but actually thought it was better than Qantas premium economy overall. As long as you don't compare it to a full service airline business class, but at the price that would not be a fair comparison anyway.

      • QF lounge access included? Extra baggage allowance as well I'd guess?

        • No lounge access unless you're already Gold or above.

        • @oSquiggles: Hmm, I think layover/ preflight lounge access is more valuable than the actual seat.

    • Its exactly the same as the business seats on Qantas & Virgin's 737 aircraft. I fly it quite a bit to Japan & Singapore and always happy with it.

    • Yes as mentioned in other comments, seats and room equivalent to Premium Economy. My experience based on 4 occasions is that service is well below par of any of the full service premium/business classes I have flown. Unless heavily discounted, better to look at full service economy.

Probably better to buy a Wish card for 5% off and then buy a Jetstar Gift Card from Woolworths.

      • I could be wrong but don't think you can use a gift card to buy a gift card.

  • what Duration?

  • Bit of a sting with the return flight on most of these destinations.

  • What points and SC's do you earn on those business fares?

    This doesn't seem right to me… http://www.jetstar.com/au/en/flights/frequent-flyer-partners…

"Qantas Points and Status Credits are not earned on Business Class fares"

  • I can't seem to find any Bangkok flights at all? Just Phuket
