Wow! I've alway's wanted to cuddle one of these huge awkward beanbag chairs. I might buy 4 of them instead of the lounge I saw at Fantastic Furniture on the weekend. Thanks OP :)

    • +13

It’s probably better quality than fantastic

    • You are living life right.

    • +6

I've bean wanting one of these

  • This is a bargain how?

    • +51

Umm, I just bought 4 of them and it cost me $610.34 (including shipping). How isn't that a bargain?

      • +10

PLEASE strap them into a floaty and send them down the Yarra on NYE recording people's reactions.

        • +2

Thanks for the suggestion. Now all I have to find is a bargain on duct tape.

This NYE is going to be the best party in Melbourne!

lounge full of snorlaxs …. how cool,

i need to get at least one for my son ….. and make sure the dog doesn’t sleep on it.

how to get it home by train will be the challenge………

went with $10 delivery ….. this will be interesting as couriers charge by weight or volume which ever is more expensive …. either they have a great contract with their courier or they will cancel order.

        • +2

I don’t think it’ll come with bean bag balls… it’ll be flat like every other bean bag item?

Unlesss… someone below said that it does. Interesting Indeed

        • +7

          @ATangk:
My family got me one last week. Vacuum sealed in a box, it is full of beans!

        • @Lem_is_cool: Please tell us you did an unboxing video.

        • @anastasiastarz: I did, but it had less beans than I thought so he didn't explode out at all :(
He more changed from a cube to a sphere.

      • Wow wish I could just blow $600 on oversized plush toys.

    • +8

      down from $228.90 to $148

How is it not a bargain? Considering ThinkGeek sell it for $149.99 US and eBay are trying to sell it for $600…. definitely a bargain.

      • +16

You're paying $148 for a beanbag. On OzBargain… Let that sink in for a bit.

        • +10

That used to be $228.90, ~$200 from the creator and big bucks on eBay? Seems like a bargain for me. I can't get a giant snorlax at Kmart can I?

    • +2

pics or it didn't happen :)

    • Have you found a better price for Snorlax bean bag chairs?

    • +14

      You should have posted it.

    • +1

can you link me to the ebay one? thanks

      • me too, i’d take an ebay one, at that price cheaper than a spotlight beanbag cover.

    • +1

$17? where? cheapest i could find was $75 on aliexpress and it looked nasty

    • +6

Have they reverse engineered been bag technology!!??

      • +1

        Yes:
Step1 : Put the bag in the beans
        Step2: Zip the beans
        Step3: Scratch your head
Step4: Buy that ugly looking lounge from Fantastic Furniture

    • +16

Hey if you say you found it cheaper else where, the right thing to do would be to provide links. Otherwise sounds like trolling.

    • +3

You can't even get a little bean filled plush toy of Snorlax for $17…

    • Where the link? I call bullshit

  • +21

are they 100% IV with Lick & Hyper Beam?

    • +18

You spelled Zen Headbutt and Body slam wrong.

      • +11

Still remember sending out my Steelix to fight my friend's Snorlax, expecting Return or Body slam.

Why the hell can Snorlax FIRE BLAST?!

        • +1

          Snorlax can't melt steel beams

      • +3

Ops need a minor text fixes…

    • -1

      Curselax is best lax

  • +23

Man this is one of those classic Ozbargain moments where I'm tempted to buy something that I absolutely don't need but will TOO LATE BOUGHT ONE

    • +10

if you re picking up in store instead of delivery i reckon just having one in the car and driving home would turn heads … photo moments ….. snorlax at mcdonald’s drive through …. snorlax at the beach …..

  • Deal! Bought one of these at full price earlier this year, highly recommended.

  • +10

I must now try and find a giant Totoro. Might check out my local forest.

    • I’ve got one which isn’t bean bag but a giant flat cushion. Measures in around 1.8m square

    • There's one at critical hit in melbs but they're retailing it for something like $500

  • does it include the beans or is it just the bag

    • +3

Beans already stuffed in his body, all limbs and head are firm pillow cushions instead of beans

      • +2

Wow in that case I can only order it to be delivered. I reckon the bus driver won't allow me to board with it.

  • +2

Girl is included for that price surely?

  • +1

If I had one of these, I wouldn't still be up commenting on posts.

  • Looks like it’s a thinkgeek product just wait for them to do that 80% off sales which would be cheaper

Here’s a video of the actual product.

How hard would it be to sew a pocket into this? Asking for a friend.

    • So your 'friend' can use it to smuggle drugs?

      • +4

        Well to hide something temporarily.

        • Are we talking nanoseconds or picoseconds here?
          Asking for a different friend.

    • Do you want to sew a dick sized hole into the butt area?

  • +5

I got one of these for half price, got it when Switch came out and EB were giving out 50% off coupons for all Nintendo loot for preorders and this was eligible!

This is different to the Japanese one which is about ~AU$500, but I am enjoying this massive beanbag!

    • I got mine with the same coupon. Best purchase ever, it's insanely comfy. His head makes a great back pillow for a long gaming session

  • +1

does the "cover" come off ? washable?

    • not sure about this one but i tried to wash bean bag once …. emptied beans into bath tub …. refilling wasn’t fun and static didn’t make it easier ….. and the beans that escaped rapidly filled the vacuum ….

  • +2

It’s on eBay for the same price with $7.95 shipping, and can use the 5% discount as well.

  • shipping was $10.95 to melbourne …. seems it comes in vac bag inside a a cardboard box .

  • I want this so bad, but $100+ !? …. DFKHGSLKJHDFLJSAH

    • +9

I just saw gibberish in caps went “ooh, is that a discount code?” - don’t mind me, carry on.

  • +4

Damnit ozbargains. I just lost $150, o wells I've probably saved up to $150 worth on items i've needed from this site this year. Just converted it into a snorlax beanbag.

  • Good deal if you have kids and they're small.
I bought this expecting it to be big but it's not.
Also there's no zip for refill.

  • Query #1: Has this ever gone on sale/ lower than this deal?

Query #2: What are some alternatives that are similar to this bean bag chair type?

    • +1

The second query: there IS no alternative. Unless you wanted a Wailord bean bag …

  • +4

I'm guessing they used the tiniest adult model they could find to sit on it to make it look huge.

  • I don't know why I brought one…I guess I could always return it to the shop…

  • Waste of money but god dam it had to have one lol

Nope $20 postage is too much!

  • Does the beans come with the snorlax?

    Or

Does the snorlax come with the beans?

    • comes with beans ….. it comes in a vac bag inside cardboard box for shipping …..

  • sucks cant put new beads in it unless you want to cut it open.
    REPLY

    • -1

it already comes with new beans ……. unpack and ready to enjoy ……

      • Are they kidney beans? Because I enjoy kidney beans

  • +22

This isn't the kind of thing you buy yourself, it's the sort of thing your mum buys for you using your money, then calls you to tell you about it while you are out riding your bike through tall grass.

    • +4

Sorry mum, Joey's on the other line. He's probably going to tell me about a tough pidgey he fought

    • +1

I went from Silver to Moon, missed a few, which one had this horrible feature?
