but they're a limited machine.I think for $100 or less it's a good machine, but I wouldnt spend more than that.
I have a Cafe Roma which i got 6 years ago in a Breville competition. It's exterior is slightly different, stainless steel cup-warming plate at the top, but everything else is the same.
It's been making me great coffees with freshly ground beans from Campos. Almost every day since i bought it.Decalc every six months or so, and it'll produce awesome home coffee. Obviously this isn't going to beat an incredible $5000 cafe system at your favourite coffee spot, but i'll do the job for sure!
I should also point out that when they were being sold 6 years ago at Bing lee the retail price was $199. Seems the retail price hasn't dropped all that much over the years.
I pick one up at garage sales 2 years ago (brand new)for $100 bucks. They are great simple unit.
Just remember, everytime after heating up (or foaming) the milk (sorry, i dont know the right term) you must clean the blower/steamer again by just letting the steam out to avoid clogging.
