Pay No Insertion and Final Value Fees on up to 3 Items @ eBay

130

Per DJ Khaled, another (targeted) free listing promotion from eBay.

P.S Yes we get it, Amazon is coming et all.

P.P.S To check whether your sale item has worked with the offer, do the following:

1) Click the "All Selling" tab located on the left-hand side of the "My eBay" page.
2) Scroll to the bottom where it says "Promotional Offers"
3) Click on the number hyperlinked on the "Used" column, next to the promotion that you have accepted.
4) If your sale item number matches the item numbers listed, then it has been linked and should process without any hassle.

I recommend that you make sure that your sale item number registers with the offer as soon as you list to ensure that the offer has been correctly applied.

Just an FYI about these "deals". I accepted a promo months ago and assumed ebay would just credit me. I forgot and one of these posts reminded me. I had to call them and they gave me some story about they were having issues and they are working on it. This isn't the first time this has happened to me. So if you have applied for these in the past it would be best to double check your account to make sure you got the credit/weren't charged. One of mine was credited at a cap of $2 per item (refund) instead of the actual FVF so that was also "fixed".

    • I had to contact them about the 70% off promo. A bit time consuming but they honoured it in the end.

  • I accepted a similar offer with no item limit mentioned but it says:

$0 Insertion & Final Value Fees
Pay no Insertion and Final Value Fees on any items you list & sell. Learn More

    Available at ebay.com.au Expires 30 November 2017
    Active
    USED 0 LEFT 0

  • Had the same issue as 4892. Make sure you check which listings have registered with the promo. I sold an iphone which didn't register and have a macbook currently listed which also didn't register properly.

Ebay phone customer service was pretty good sorting it out once I told them.

Yes, always make sure that your sale item number registers with the offer as soon as you list it.

      You can check by:

      1) Clicking the "All Selling" tab located on the left-hand side of the "My eBay" page.
      2) Scrolling to the bottom where it says "Promotional Offers"
      3) Clicking on the number hyperlinked on the "Used" column, next to the promotion that you have accepted.

  • Thanlks OP! this will be my 4th in about 2-3 months! had list 10 originally, then list 3, list 5, and now list 3!

    • Unfortunately I wasn't targeted. Any idea how they decide?

      • Not sure..the first time i assumed it was just because i hadn't sold anything in years and hadn't used ebay for a month or so. did you try clicking on the link rather than relying on a promo email?
I didn't get an email but clicked on the link and it worked.

        • Yeah clicked the link - not targeted. Probably cos I've just listed and sold a whole load of old stuff.

I was somehow eligible for the other ones - Garage sale trail for 5 free and the Sundays 1 dollar final value fee.

        • @avidd: ye i got the Garage sale one as well..how odd. I've sold about 16 things i the past 3 months purely based on the fast i got these promos, and now ive signed for 3 more…hopefully you get the next deal
