    How do you work that out? Delonghi have their products made in mostly Italian factories that slap a badge on them to a price whereas Smeg are a much larger company that manufacturer and design their own products. You can't compare the two, Delonghi are like Kleenmaid.

  Don't get sucked into the Smeg hype.Bought their top of the line freestandng oven ($8000)and after about a week lost the control panel. Service guy comes out and say that it actually wasn't soldered. Their microwaves are just rebranded shit, this came from a service guy repairing it just after warranty had expired (been fixed three time now - never integrate a microwave into your kitchen cabinets because they all have different trim kit sizing) and their top of the line fully integrated dishwasher was on the nature strip for hard rubbish pick up after five years because the main board stuffed up. It's just crap.
