I bought one a few years ago. This is a bad frother.

It creates way too much froth and its consistency tastes bad.

  This may be a dumb question but…isn't it meant to froth? How can the consistency taste bad? Genuine questions.

    The froth is extremely thick and it makes an excessive amount of it.
    
    I'd used Aeroccino before it, which did it just right. Not too much, not too little. It was more bubbly and hollow, whereas the bubbles were almost microscopic with the Caffitaly, so it tasted very different. It doesn't flow well into your cup either.

I use it make Milo. Just add the milk and Milo and come back to hot chocolate.
