  • I thought the DHD camera was pretty up there with 8MB and then this comes along: "12MP camera with Xenon flash bolted on the back" yikes! That's really getting into you don't need a 'real' camera territory.

Edit: After reading a bit more of the review found this which was quite interesting:

"We managed to easily knock out two days' use with the phone, although it wouldn't have managed to get far into the third day.

This is with push email turned on, the Wi-Fi scanner in full force and a fair smattering of internet and music too - in short, it's just fantastic and way ahead of nearly all the smartphone competition and shows off one of the plus points of Symbian^3."

Having said that they still said that the Symbian experience was unpolished :/

    • yeah, that is why I got the Desire HD and not this, but if Nokia manages bring out the next one (N9) with dual booting MeeGo and symbian OR go to android for smartphones(not likely) then I'm sold. Still my friend is an early jumper(n97) and has had a string of nokia phones before that(N-gage, 6600, N95,N96) and he already has his and loves it. BTW s^3 is very similar to S60v5 and QT(language) got a lot of support.

  • -1

    Ugly phome alert.

  • Same as other post. This NRMA discount already end as it clearly stated Join before October 31, 2010 and you get 3 months free credit+ and good luck with Vodaphone customer service!
Is this good enough reason to vote -ve? :)

    • yet you can still check it out…some people have said on whirlpool that CS has honoured the deal for the Desire HD, as late as Wednesday. All depends on who you talk to on CS

      • The date is there so you really don't have a case if they not honour the deal.

  • Can it do swype all care about is swype

  • Do they have this discount for RACV in Vic?

  • ive played with this phone when it was in prototype mode a few months back and an inside source says that nokia will be using android soon….

  • Neat features reported include hooking up to a USB drive or flash and using an HDMI output so you can play HD media on a tv :)

That said, I'm waiting to hear reports about experiences with it over here (and what problems it has).

Yes, I also read this looks like it'll be one of the last of the Symbian OS phones too. I forget where the link is though.
