  • Great prices. Still awaiting NQR in NSW.

  • Saw these today $1 each at Food Factory Sales in Bayswater, Victoria if your out that way

    • Wow!

    • Damn, wish I'd known that, would have driven the extra few k's :/

      • Didn't check dates but was only the dark green and light green boxes
Not a fan of those flavours

  • +2

If you're in Queensland, Golden Circle Factory Outlet at Capalaba is selling the "luscious berries & cherries" muesli (purple box) for $0.99 (best before 29/10/2017), while the Discount Grocery Outlet in Underwood has the "simply delicious" muesli (dark blue box) for $1.00.

  • .
Great buy at this price …. but DON'T stock up …… as what NQR have the use by date is the end of October

    • We go through a box in under a week, so that's at least 8 boxes for this household.

Plus it's Best before date, not a use by, so it'd have a few more months before I'd give it a miss. It's museli, what's the worst that could happen? A bit drier?

    • It's 'best before' and frankly, for stuff like this, those dates are a scam.

      • Yeah, forgot to mention dates - for the boxes I have they vary between 31/07/2017 and 23/11/2017.

All have been perfectly fine but I'll add info to deal.

Pretty sure NQR can only sell Best Before groceries that are past their date anyway.

Foods that must be eaten before a certain time for health or safety reasons should be marked with a use by date. Foods should not be eaten after the use by date and can’t legally be sold after this date because they may pose a health or safety risk.

Most foods have a best before date. You can still eat foods for a while after the best before date as they should be safe but they may have lost some quality. Foods that have a best before date can legally be sold after that date provided the food is fit for human consumption.
