Bought infamous 2 years ago, still haven't played it. oh well glad we're starting to get more AAA titles.
Probably why they increased the yearly subscription.
They still have some way to go to catch up to Xbox's free titles.
* Child of Light was in Xbox Games with Gold back in April 2015.
* In September, Xbox One members get Battlefield 3, Forza 5, Oxenfree, and Hydro Thunder.
Infamous is a good pickup though.
That is about as relevant for them supposedly having to catch up on a service they have offered for over 7 years now as mentioning Walking Dead Season 2 and Temple of Osiris (April and May this year for GWG) were made available on IGC in 2015. Or Giana Sisters was available in 2013. Or Outlast was available in 2014.

BF3 (6yrs old) and Forza 5 (4yrs old) Big names, very dated.
PSN recently had Just Cause 3 (3yrs old) and Until Dawn (2yrs old) which are much more recent.
Damn just noticed it's $79 now.
Yeah, just went up today, I think. They had a sale which just ended 15 months for the price of 12 at the old price of $69. I guess that sale would have ended with the price increase today.
Lucky for me I took that deal last week. On top of another sale a few months back where it was 20 or 30% off, I'm now paid up until March 2020 at the old price.
@AngusD: Nah, they friggin ended the deal on the 29th and upped the price at 9am on the 31st, bloody caught me out because both changing at midnight on 31st made more sense to me..
Child of light is really really good!
Bought infamous day one. Decent game, easy plat, well worth your time.
Then move on to the first two, better, infamous games. First Light is also definitely worth checking out on the cheap.
I got First Light via PS+ back in January 2015. I really enjoyed it but I'm not skilled enough to get Platinum trophy. I'm keen to play Second Son for sure though!
Second Son is a lot longer, though First Light was basically standalone DLC for it so it makes sense.
I've platinum'd them both a couple times, I'm not a trophy whore or anything, I just enjoyed the games. Second Son is probably easier but will take longer as you have to clock the game as good and bad Delsin, whereas morality was cut from First Light.

OzBargain newb here: question if these should be in forums as opposed to deals (it's a subscription after all?). More so when they are speculative/unconfirmed. But props for reminding people to redeem them I guess.
These should be posted as deals, forums is for discussion topics. The deal voting system allows users to vote up monthly games that are good deals. A number of other deals are also part of a paid membership/subscription scheme.
We decided some time ago that these are permissible as deal posts and generally that was what users wanted, other deal websites also followed this premise and we've run with that for many years.
In the case of unconfirmed deals in general, in the unlikely event that a deal doesn't go ahead completely then it would be removed as a deal.

Also I think the basic consensus is that although it might not technically be a deal, the reminder for members to pickup their games is invaluable. Certainly the only way I don't miss any of the good ones.
I'd honestly prefer the older model where we got 1 newly released PSN title & 1 old.
These AAA games so far are either in the bargain bin or we've most likely already played them by now.

Yep, completely agree. But for some reason people seem ridiculously happy to get an AAA title, even if its years old and if you haven't played it yet you probably weren't interested in the first place…. people are strange.
Both great titles though so happy for those who haven't played these games yet.
Child of Light is fantastic, best final fantasy game ive played in many years, way better than new final fantasy
If you like final fantasy give 'I am Setsuna' a go. It's one of the most enjoyable classic rpgstyle games ive played.
I've been waiting for Infamous for so many years now. I knew it would go on sale eventually. Just goes to show that if patience is a virtue, Ozbargain is a way of life.
Buy a $400 Playstation 4, probably a $1000 tv to go with it. Not willing to spend $20 for a highly recommended game. :S

Lol i have infamous from the hack that happened years ago and played it a little. Cool concept but rinse and repeat.
I actually enjoy playing one of the freebies from last month but i scored some hella deals on fallout 4 DLCs, majority of them where 50%off.

inFamous is such a good game. Much better than the standalone DLC and looks amazing. (Especially if you have a HDR capable tv).
