Not sure if this one's targeted but I just received a newsletter from Qantas referring to the introduction of 2-factor authentication. After clicking on the update details button, adding a mobile number, and confirming, they advised that I will receive 2000 Qantas points in a few weeks time.

Did they inform you of the points via email or on the site? I got the same email and updated my details. But it didn't mention any points
