More and more women are making the switch to menstrual cups, not just because they're better for the environment, but because they provide for easier, cleaner and safer periods.

FDA-approved, 100% medical grade silicone
user-friendly, safe alternative to pads and tampons
made of silky-soft medical grade silicone, that's naturally hygienic
easy to insert, and reusable for years to come
eco-logical: reduce your use of pads and tampons; save money every month
convenient - less changing and hassle, more freedom
safe - wear it up to 12 hours and overnight!
so comfortable, you won't even feel it!
a secure cup worn internally, not a leaky, porous pad or tampon

We are big believers in making the switch to the #CupLife but we also understand that many women are hesitant to make the jump because most cups start at around $30-40. There are cheaper cups available, but these are often called "China cheapies" and don't have FDA approval, despite what they may claim. Enter Rebel Kate!

We've created a one-time deal with one of the few FDA-approved suppliers in China to provide a non-branded cup at a discounted price, so that we can offer the same FDA assurance of a branded cup, with the lower pricing of a Made-in-China product - all for your benefit!

Use this cup as a starter to give the #CupLife a try without the financial commitment, or fall in love with our unbranded cup forever! Either way, at this price point, you can't go wrong.

Sourcing Information: This cup is made in China. Like every cup we sell, it is made by a supplier listed in the FDA register.

Includes: 1 Small & 1 Large cup + instructions + storage pouch

Sizing: You will receive BOTH a Small and Large cup, eliminating the risk of ordering the wrong size!

Small – for women with light to moderate flow, or who are younger, or have not experienced intercourse. Height (incl stem) 70 mm x Width 39 mm.

Large – for women who have a normal or heavier flow, or who have given birth vaginally or engaged in intercourse. Height (incl stem) 72 mm x Width 45 mm.

I'm going to tape them under my T-shirt so it looks like I have perky boobies.

All jokes aside, this seems like a pretty good idea.
Never knew they existed to be honest.

Considering chicks will go through a pack of pads a cycle (at $8 a pack), these things would not only save the environment but also A LOT of cash over the year (or years!). When you think about the waste generated, that's a big deal.

I have just shown my wife this deal and I got a slap around the back of my head, and now she is not talking to me.
That was worth it already and I have not spent any money :-)

My Girlfriend used one of these types and could not even feel it when inserted, no leaks no mess. Highly recommend for you ladies.

  • No idea how this works

  • Is this what they use for queens cup?

I use one and have used for a couple of years now. It's actually very useful. Less mess for the most part, doesn't smell, is more comfortable to insert than a tampon and lasts longer between needing to empty. It's easy to clean as well. Lasts for ages rather than using new products all the time which end up in landfill. Works out cheaper very quickly even though initial investment is usually high.

It's fantastic for sports (I enjoy distance running) and you can wear it no matter how heavy or light your period is. Unlike pads and tampons it doesn't work by absorption which is what ends up making things funky.

I also like it for traveling as you don't need to take sanitary products which can be kinda bulky if you're trying to travel light.

Under swim wear it's probably the best option as well.

    So yeah, I'd recommend it.

        Gime? What's a gime?

        • +1

          OOOOOOHHHHH, a gime

      • +3

Yeah I know!! If you're lucky you can go a whole 12 hours without emptying! On my heavy day I definitely need to empty at mid day. Usually all that is required is a quick tip down the toilet then reinsert. If you're unlucky (and this has happened to me a few times) you'll make a mess (blood can drip on the floor or toilet seat, fingers can get messy). I tend to just use toilet paper to wipe up mess but you could also carry around wet wipes (or those swissper travel pack size face wipes) in case of emergencies.

As I've become more used to it I've definitely run into fewer issues. It's much the same as getting used to using other sanitary items when you first get your period… Trial and error haha

        • Thanks for sharing Em. Showed Mrs your posts and she's going to give it a go :).

@UFO: no worries. It definitely took a couple of periods to get used to it. Definitely look up a few pages on how to use and try a couple of different folds to see what works best. I've tried two different brands so far and it is surprising how different they are. Goodluck to your wife!

    Comments are as expected.

    • Yes, your comment is as I expected.

  • Can you clean them in the dishwasher?

    • Just boil in saucepan for three minutes

      • -1

Honestly don't even need to do that, my girlfriend never does. Just gets a rinse out under hot water for a sec.

  • Most of times, the blood comes as big clots, so thingy is going to make a mess

  • Thank <diety> all of this is in my past.

  • 2 Cups, 1 girl
Sounds like the sequel to a movie….

  • I've used these in the past. Paid a lot more. No fun to insert. Was instructed to make it more pliable by running under hot water. Leaks were common. Was best in third world countries where I guarantee you that your room attendant, usually men, goes through all of you rubbish. Same on cruises. They have to separate the rubbish and 99% of them are make. Just feels uncomfortable. This is a good alternative.

  • Do these feed the blood in coz they are shaped like a funnel?

  • Is it $11.99 in another currency? I was charged $15.81

    • I checked with them it's USD. Op can you please update the title?
