If you are looking to buy or upgrade your hand held shower and hose then this looks like a great deal. I especially like the 30-day no questions asked return policy. If you are not 100% happy just send it back for a full refund! The high quality and 10-year guarantee makes this one stand out from the rest.

You are obviously associated, so why say "looks like a deal" otherwise you wouldnt be posting it on here. Be more transparent…

      Lol how embarrassing…you're associated and pretending you're a customer….

I bought a set from your first post partially due to the credibility from your communications- however, this comment is verging on, if not completely being sock puppeting. Credibility lost unfortunately.

How did you not realise he was a rep?

      • Sorry to all for the misunderstanding. All of my posts come up as associated and in a border so I thought it would be obvious the post was associated. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. cheers

But you still posted like you were a customer giving a review…don't be ridiculous…

Otherwise why wouldn't you just add that text to the original posting, not a separate comment?

  • Was hoping for the Commando 450…

you couldn't handle that, you're delicate.

  • only if this was an adjusted one….

  • I own this product, bought recently from their eBay listing (same price). It seems to be of good quality. The shower provides a reasonable coverage, but has a definite upper limit in terms of how much water you can get out of it (no matter how far you open the tap), but it is adequate. The hose seems unnecessarily thick though, and is thicker than conventional hoses. As a result, it is harder to remove the showerhead from the holder, as the hose barely gets sideways through the gap. I do not understand the purpose of such a thick hose, as my previous non-watersaving Flexispray showerhead achieved noticeably higher waterflow with a thinner hose. A thicker-than-normal hose on a watersaving showerhead seems silly to me, as the hose is clearly not a 'bottleneck'.

In the threaded part of the hand piece there is a rubber flow restricter.
Take the rubber out and waste as much water as you want.

The thicker hose might have something to do with the 10 year warranty, the thin ones tend to fail after several years.

      • Are you sure? It only has a rubber ring, which does not look like it restricts anything, and seems to be there to provide a waterproof seal when you attach the house.

        • Hi, the flow restricting washer is inserted at the inlet end of the hose and the black rubber washer is inserted on the top of that. If the nut does not screw down far enough and a small gap can be seen the black rubber washer can be removed. The flow restricting washer also works as a water tight seal.

    • "but has a definite upper limit in terms of how much water you can get out of it (no matter how far you open the tap), but it is adequate"

That's the result of a 7.5L per minute restrictor. I prefer it as you save water and/or can have longer shower.

The days of 20+ LPM shower heads are gone.

Thicker hoses are good as they are less likely to split, however most of the reason why hand held showers fail is because you drop them.

      • I don't normally need a lot of water, but there are times where a bit more pressure can be useful. But I can live with it, and consciously chose for this.
Agree about the dropping, although the one I replaced was covered in mould and deposits which attached to the rubber outlets. Impossible to clean.

  • Bought this a while ago from the last ozB post.
Good build and looks like good quality material. Easy to fit to replace my aging 2nd bathroom shower head.

Wish it does different flow mode tho as claimed also by @make it so but this is a rain drop type, so cant complain.
