How would people stack this up again the Moto G5 ?
Lots of info here on this phone from an old post.
Don't buy any phone with 16GB internal memory. Although it has memory card but you can't transfer all the apps in your memory card anyway. You will download 8-9 apps and 16GB will be full. Then you will start receiving annoying full storage notifications.
Whilst not entirely bad advice for some, I picked up the Moto G5 on Tuesday downgrading from a 32GB Galaxy S7, and have installed 235 Apps on the 16gb of internal storage and still have 1.5GB left. Admittedly the Sony takes up more storage (I believe) with more bloat, but… it's do-able.
Vodafone store currently selling them for $159 locked as well but $10 cheaper.
$159 in store at Vodafone
http://www.vodafone.com.au/mobile-details/sony-xperia-xa-bla…Also $159 from Woolies this week also with $30 included starter credit. Good cheap phone that is easy to get unlocked and will work 100% on all 3 Telcos with 3G/4G.
any ways unlocking these?
Ask the sales guy at Harvey Norman for the key to the glass cabinet they're locked behind.
Massive Dad joke.
try this site, I unlocked mine here
https://unlock.vodafone.com.au/voila/handsetunlock/self-serv…It's good back up phone TBH, as rohitroygre said install more than 8-9 apps and phone is slow as.
Lots of people that bought the Vodafone deal in my link above got it unlocked for free via the website.
Try ozunlock
Vodafone has stopped unlocking on call now. They will simply ask you to go to the Vodafone Unlock website and unlock there. Then you have to pay total $50. Before I used to get the Vodafone staff to provide the unlocking code to me while I was on call with them. But now they have completely stopped this and they will tell you one straight thing…go to the unlock website.
I got it unlocked from here instead…It worked perfect in one go…I paid $23…Looks like the seller has increased the price now
