      If you go and buy from OW in store they offer a 5% price beat policy, so that's what you'll pay.

      Hi mate. Yes, you can. Basically you just cast the entire desktop instead of just casting the chrome tab.

    my chormecast 2 stopped working.
    LED is on but i can't seem to reset it.
    It is more than 12 months so out of warranty.
    What else could I do other than buying a new one?

      Well, it's out of warranty, it's stopped working. Unless you exhausted all the troubleshooting steps, if all fails: you have to buy a new one.

        My local HN is 1 minute drive, my local officeworks is 20 minutes. The fuel consumption would not have been worth $1.90

        My local Officeworks said they can't lower the price by 5% unless their price was higher than HN (even by 10 cents) and not exactly the same. In this case, both stores have exactly the same price.

    Has anyone tried a Google audio Chromecast to make their subwoofer wireless?
    Can you have the same song stream if you have two Chromecasts?
    Eg. I already have a Chromecast connected to my amplifier input which allows me to use my mobile as a remote and utilise Spotify….this is connected to 2 pairs of ceiling speakers.
    I can't run a RCA cable from amp to sub, so I want to put a different audio Chromecast to the active sub.
    Anyone tried this?

      Should work. I occasionally play my CCA from an old amp in one room and CC2 through TV/amp in another room. Easy to bundle devices together for that 'sonos' treatment. Your sub won't have HDMI port though so won't you need CCA?

      Yeah Google Home has a setting for syncing up multiple chromecast audios.

      Fake. Hard to tell, other than the price is too good.

      At least some of the sellers say (in the fine print) that they are fake, eg: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Google-Chromecast-2-Digital-WIFI-…

      Down the bottom it says: NOTE:Third party production, Not original one, but with high quality as the original.

      Damn cheeky since they say Google all over the ad.

    Is there a way to stop it turning on automatically when I power my TV on?
    I am using one connected to my lounge room TV which my parents use daily for commercial TV, so the chromecast dongle will only get used occasionally by myself(perhaps once or twice a week). Will it shorten its lifespan if it is powered on constantly when the TV is on?

      You got to look in your TV menu for HDMI auto detect function and disable it. Function might not be available on every TV ever made. Otherwise plug the chromecast into a side HDMI port only when you need it.

    The guys at OW probably noticed a sudden spike in sales of the CC2 through pricematch. It is now listed for $38 online.

    Went to officeworks and when I asked about price beat they said it already rung up at the register at $38. But the shelf sticker still said $55 so they decided they would beat the price to make it $36.10…
    At the end of the day - good news is that's it is $38 at both HN and OW :)

You could try to see if anyone would match this extra deal if you're still looking for one. If you bought one from them, maybe go back and ask if you can get the deal.

      I think you go into the google play app and it will allow you to get a free trial. It won't work however if you are a current subscriber or have used a GPM trial in the last 12 months.
