      me too
Google's sale starts tomorrow, so I'm hoping it will be better than this

It appears the google sales aren't very good from what I can see?

Not sure if I'm correct in saying that.

I'm looking for an 8 as opposed to an 8a

        • Pixel 9 benchmark performance appears lower than the current snapdragon gen 3 let alone snapdragon elite. Could be a factor in choosing a flagship

          • @JohnnyP: What do you mean exactly?

Sorry, are you saying the 8a is better than the 8?

        • Jump on the 8 Pro: https://www.amazon.com.au/Google-Unlocked-Nano-SIM-6-7-inch-…

I suspect it's a sell out sale, as there are none available (new) from any other retailers (including Google)

  • I was hoping for a Trade-In bonus…bummer

  • 100 gift card with the pixel 9 pro xl… Tempting

  • +1

Paid less than that at launch!

    • yeah $349 with all the trade in and gift cards

      • Paid $531 cash and got 200 GC. I overheard someone at JB, saying online sales knocked $19 for them so they knocked it for me too

        • +1

Yeah, it was $549 after trading in a phone ( I traded in an old 3G phone for $0 ), and you also got a bonus $200 gift card for pre-ordering.

I had issues with battery life due to the modem / local signal strength, but otherwise one of the nicest cheap phones I've ever owned.

  • what a rip off I paid $349 couple months ago at JB launch

    • +1

Didn’t you have to trade in a phone to get that?

      • +1

that's what you say you would do but at the end you don't and they just debit the trade value from your card but you get to keep the trade in bonus

        so https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/844795

        $849 - $200 - $300 = $349

  • GREAT phone

  • Does anyone know how to deal with an order cancelled due to failed verification for an online purchase? I used multiple gift cards bought at Big W, and the order was immediately cancelled. Thanks.
