Although gen2 is out (and I'm using gen2), gen1 does one thing a lot better. It is cutable every 10cm as opposed to every 33cm. Very useful in smaller spaces where it's more important to have a closer to perfect length if extension isn't required.
These are very cool but not about to spend Over $100 for something i can definitely live without

The gen 2 are literally 10x brighter, check the specs
A couple of things
I saw these on your website the other day - they were already reduced. I'd like to know the last time you sold them for $129. Probably before the second gen came out
Also - these are generation one (as stated). The second gen ones are way brighter and can be extended
