Stopped by at Woolworths and saw cauliflowers for $1.90 each. If you are lazy enough not to go to asian/veg shop, I think it is a good price. Cheaper than Coles by 10c.
Whole Cauliflower $1.90 Each @ Woolworths ($2 @ Coles), Possibly Only in Vic

could be only in Victoria. I will update the title.
Sorry, looks like they are $2 at Coles though for NSW
now if they had the cauli on special, passage to india curry on special, and potatoes i could make curry and the weeks lunch is all sorted …… like an eclipse the specials need to align.
Had a shot at doing the cauliflower "rice" the other day. It is more like Cauliflower couscous when I do it; but if you put a little bit of oil with it and "roast cook it in the oven it is a good replacement for rice.

why not just use rice in the first place ….. rice is even cheaper by cooked volume .
Cauliflower is better for you than rice.
I tried it…I wish I could have convinced myself it was like rice…but couldn't.
I find most vegetable specials at Coles/Woolies to be state specific; at least until spotted otherwise rather than the other way around.
$2 at my local Coles.
this deal stinks

The comment above is rotten
it is available for $1 at all the local vegetable shops
Looks like $3 in NSW
