Specs in the title. Cheapest price I can find anywhere in Australia. Dell sells it for $2549

Personally think it is a better deal comparing to: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/304831 if you do not need a more powerful GPU. The difference between 6 and 7 GEN CPU can be ignored.
Highlight in this deal is that the selling model comes with 4K touch screen.

Just be mindful that 6th Gen come with 84Whr battery while latest 7th Gen is 97Whr in equivalent model.

The newer model (9560) is currently selling at Dell for $2,549.00 ($750 more). One noticeable upgrade would be the NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 GPU which is about 20% performance increase from the old one (NVIDIA GeForce 960M). Every other upgrades from the new model are neglectable (in my opinion)

The difference looks to be much more than 20%. Both fps e.g. and benchmarks seem to have the gtx1050 at a 40% improvement.

      • The cheapest 7th Gen actually only has a 56Whr battery unfortunately, something to consider if you're looking at the 9560s.
bit of an unnecessary downgrade, and not one many users would think to check for.

    • What would be the difference of the battery performance?

  • the gpu is the deal breaker here

    • You can get cheaper laptops with more GPU power that look less elegant. I can see people who just need basic acceleration using it in professional settings.

  • Anyone know if this model supports eGPUs?

  • Good size SSD, screen resolution and ram. Not sure the GPU is good enough at that price point - prefer the other deal with 1050ti or 1050.

  • Anyone know this is locked to Windows? Lenovo signature edition models doesn't allow Linux to be installed
