Seemed liked a pretty good price for a travel charger, espcially if you are looking for something with more than 1 quick charge port.

Doesn't come with an AU plug, it does use a standard figure of 8 plug which shouldn't be too hard to find.

    Good price

    • I thought so as well given the 2 quick charge 3.0 port, I'm sure they have other specials on at the moment, I just don't need anything (not a very OzBargain thing to say I know…)

    • +3

Had terrible experience with the aukey official store and both the usb-c+4xQC2.0 and 30000mAh power bank. The charger doesn't charge at QC2.0 and takes too long, the powerbank doesn't hold charge. Then the official store rep wouldn't replace or refund and waited as long as possible during the dispute

    • +5

6 port over 5 port, 2 QC over 1 QC. Did you even read them?

    • +2
      • 6 ports vs 5
      • 2 QC3.0 ports vs 1
      • 60 watts vs 54 watts

Should also consider need for the total number of ports required and the number of QC3.0 ports requried.

      • +1

Worth mentioning that since it's 60W you're not going to get 2.4A in each port simultaneously if both QC3 ports are in use ;) None the less it's still a good charger if you need 2 QC3 ports.

        • Idea is plug in all devices overnight and all will be done by morning and if you have flat device and need a Quick charge ….Then just use QC port.

  • +1

I've had one of these for a few months, it replaced a faulty 5 port Anker charger. Been working spot on so far, I can highly recommend one.

    Cheaper from their official store:

    • +1

If you are referring to the $24.64us price, try configuring it to deliver to Australia and getting that price.

      • +1

Sorry got confused with the other seller. Please ignore.

EDIT: your link still shows me the price of US$25.58 through the app.

        • Aliexpress is usually slightly cheaper through the app from my experience

  • +4

I ordered another one through this seller, worked out to be $25.11US shipped.

Good catch, would update but can't change the store.

    • +1

Should also add- you can combine cashrewards with their mobile pricing.

      Safari - CashRewards - Redirect - Store - App - Shop

      • +1

        Safari - CashRewards - Redirect - Store - App - Shop - An eternity later……………………………………. - Arrived - Hmm I wonder what I ordered?

  • Can I buy an adapter that can be used with my Lenovo Yoga 910 as well?
    Lenovo Yoga 10 power supply specs are: Output:5V-3A or 9V-3A or 15V-3A or 20V-2.25A 45W Input:100-240V 50-60Hz

  • +1

    Do these meet Aus Standards?

    • No, they don't.

    • +2

They probably meet the standards, but have not been certified as such. This could have insurance implications.
In terms of risk, there are significantly more dodgy and failure-prone products legally available in Australia.

      • I don't think so.

Like ORICO they already in the Australian Market, but their QUICK USB Charger line not been certified to meet Aus standard.

There should some reasons they didn't do that we dont know.

  • +4

I thought I saw AuSkey when I first saw the post., that every tax payers had the nightmare with…

    • Haha, me too. We have to deal with them at work.

      • Ugh I'd forgotten about them but now you've both reminded me :(

  • +1

No AU plug, only US & EU.

  • +1

Any tear-down on this? Good isolation between high and low side?

  • If you plug a non-QC3 device into a QC3 charge port, does it stuff up the phone or charger in any way?

    • +2

No it doesn't, it just won't charge at QC3 speeds.

  • I'd be all over this if it featured built in wireless charging.

  • +1

    Estimated Delivery Time:24-49days

    Hmmmm

    • +3

They hope you forgot you ordered it and never deliver

    • +1

just pay an extra 4 dollars AU for the epacket shippinh and it arrived in half the time 13-20 days. i bought it with the faster shipping for only 38 AUD

  • Which one is better? This or Tronsmart?

    • +1

I just bought an AUKEY, so will have to see, but Tronsmart for me has been rock solid, no whiny noises, etc (have 5 units). The AU Key has more ports, which is what drew me to this deal.

    • I've had the Aukey for a few months and it has been rock solid, silent operation and feels very well made. I think it just comes down to whether the extra usb port is worth the additional cost to you.

    • If you have a Nexus 6P I would go Tronsmart. QC3 for Nexus 6P

  • 7% cashrewards cash back too!

    • I have Never done this "cash back " thingy I keep reading about online. Could someone Please advice me step by step how to do this?

Thanks for help in advance :-)

      • +4
        1. Sign up to cashrewards.com.au
        2. Before making a purchase, goto cashrewards.com.au and search their website to see if they have a deal with the online retailer
        3. If they do, click through the cash rewards link and make a purchase
        4. Hope cash rewards tracked the purchase so it shows up in your account
        5. If it was tracked, it'll take a couple of weeks to clear the cashback amount
        6. When it clears you can withdraw the funds

It's def worth it IMO. I have about $130 in my account from purchases i would have made anyway. I should really go and withdraw the funds at some point.

        • Thanks for your great effort sharing this info with me and the rest of the community here who like me might be new to this.

Been meaning to get this going, but put it in my do later too hard basket till now lol. Cheers

        • +1

@ozhunter68: no problem. Sometimes they don't track the purchase but if followed the links you can email them the receipt and they'll follow it up.

  • +4

If you don't care about QC2.0 and 5 ports are OK rather than 6, there's a cheaper one here - $AU19.99 + 9.95 shipping. Australian plug too.

  • how fast would this charge iphone 6 and powerbanks that dont support QC??

    would it be 2.4?

    • +1

Most likely, it'd be basically the same as any other higher capacity charger. Should see an easy 2A output, perhaps a little more.

      • +1

Everyone seems to think that iPhones draw as much as the charger will supply up to 2 or 2.4 amps but I'm yet to be convinced. I feel that there is some kind of negotiation and that beside a genuine Apple 12w charger they will only pull down 1 amp.

Note that BlitzWolf specifically state that their QC3.0 chargers will only go up to 1 amp with an iPhone.

If someone could show a bench test proving either way it would be appreciated.

        • I was more talking about the powerbanks, because screw Apple. I have to support their products >_<
I'd actually agree with you though as far as what their devices will draw, however I've seen an older iPad charge pretty quick off a 20,000 mAh (20 Ah just looks weird) battery bank. But who knows. Let's get some scientific testing happening!

        • Apparently 6s plus will charge at 2a

    • Not, 5V 1A only. If you have iPhone 6/6s Plus and above (iPhone7 iPhone 7 Plus), those phones support 5V 2A

iphone 6/6s and blow dont support 5V 2A

      • Sorry I have 6s plus
So I guess it will charge at 2a

  • I got one of these to charge an htc10, takes almost double the time than with the supplied HTC charger. Didn't notice the power rating difference.

    • -1

So you're saying it's better or worse than the factory supplied charger? It is unclear.

      • +1

I don't see how double the time is better

  • So exactly how many ports are QC 3 and 2?

    • Two. QC3, backwards compatible with QC2.

  • +1

will this charge my ipad, samsung tablet, huawei phone and iphone at the same time?

    • 4 ports, 2.4A each port, 9.6A max.. yes.
Because maths is a thing ;)

      • +1

i'm just worried about the different voltage and wattage that's all. Maths doesn't bother me =)

        • Voltage is the same for all of them! They all get 5V DC each.
As long as it sticks to its claim of providing each port with 2.4A max, your 4 non-QC ports are fine. That's only 48W total.
Device is rated for 60W, go for it :)

  • Dumb question.. but does this work as a hub as well, or just a bunch of charging ports?

    • Just charging.

  • +2

They already marked my order as shipped. Hopefully, it won't take 45 days to get here..

    • +2

Last time I ordered the Aukey 5 port charger from AliExpress it came within 2 weeks. Another item came within 3 weeks.

  • Would both QC ports be 3A? The 4 Ai ports say 2.4A each specifically, but not the QC ports

    • No. Qualcomm Quick Charge and AiPower cannot go up to 3A.

  • +1

bought these a little while back. came with us plug. yanked out figure 8 power cable from old dvd player and works like a champ fast charging my lg v20.

  • I have had a few multiport chargers that make the touchscreen on my iPhone and iPad act weird.Anyone experience this with this charger?

    • +1

Some cheap chargers may cause the problem.
