I am a new user and the code is not working for me.
Word of caution from the last code that was on here, if the code wasn't meant to be used by you they can and probably will just deduct the full amount from your credit card without notice.

I complained and got my money back. They can't tell you they are going to charge you $9 (in my case) but end up charging you $39.

It's their business model. Deliberately do what they want, regardless of the law, hoping people with get tired of complaining about them. When they are forced to follow the law, they take their ball and go home…

Why steal your money without your authorisation in the first place ?
They can and they did. Stay away from UberEATs as they can simply take money out of your account without your authorization. The support lady I spoke to about this over the phone was from the phillipines and i told her if they do not put my money back in my account I will take it up with the office of fair trading and she kept on saying she cannot refund me because the code was invalid and did not understand what the office of fair trading is. I told her the code was accepted but she didnt seem to understand and kept on repeating that the code was not accepted so no refund would be given. It was incredibly frustrating and she clearly did not know anything about Australian law or how their own coupon system works. Is UberEATs even Australian?

Screen capture you transactions and do a charge back on your credit card.
