This is an excellent price on this groupset, and even cheaper than the last Ultegra groupset deal I posted. The coupon should give $15 off orders over $150, but there are numerous other vouchers around that yield similar discounts.

There are specific Shimano flat bar shifters you can buy and fit to this groupset. I bought them for a flat bar 105 groupset bike I built. I cant remember the item codes but i did a bit of research on the shimano website, identified the needed parts and then bought them on ebay.
What about pedals?
May be a joke question, but pedals are not considered part of the group set.
Such a personal choice, many people would want to buy their pedals seperately. Personally I ride on Speedplay pedals and my 3 pairs of bike shoes all have speedplay cleats on them. If I was buying a groupo that came with pedals other than speedplay (and I am pretty sure there are no groupsets that have Speedplay bundled pedals) they would be going straight onto a facebook swap board. I know a few others that for some reason (beyond me) love time pedals!!!
This price isn't really correct. There is only a few configurations at that price and they aren't the popular ones.
Some configs are more than what you would pay from Aussie shops.
Its odd. The cheapest have 11-25T. Extra cost for 11-28 is more than a whole new cassette.
ie cheaper to get both.
Off topic. Any good deals on Smart Trainers fellow cyclist? Need to get one for winter. Budget upto $1000.
Me too, looking for something that is fully Zwift compatible so that i can sit in my garage on a bike killing myself to beat some pixels up an imaginary hill. All the while probably getting flogged by some 12 year olds in eastern europe that have hacked the thing and are having a joke competition to see how many middle aged western white men they can give heart attacks to over their school holidays!
You should be able to pick up last gen Kickr for around that on sale. Highly recommend one. Before I got one I hated indoor trainers with a passion but now I use Zwift 4-5 times a week and love it!
Kickr v1 is still hovering over $1200+ mark.
I bought this one
https://www.bike24.com/1.php?content=8;product=186077;menu=1…Comes down to 600 eur delivered to Australia excluding VAT or circa $860. Local price $1100 or so.
CheersThanks, the flux is in my Radar.
I received my Flux at the start of this week. I purchased it from Pushys for $950 delivered. Haven't used it yet as I'm waiting for a cassette and associated tools to arrive (another cost to factor). I used a discount code, however the week later pushys had 10% off trainers. If you wait a few weeks, another code will present. I did a lot of research and came across shane millers YouTube channel. Basically he broke 2 flux's. 1 from a known issue, the other ???. Apparently the initial batch had an issue that affected 2% of units. The issue has been apparently been resolved but it would not doubt have affected sales. I contacted Pushys to insure they did not have the defective units and confirmed the flux was covered by an Australian warranty. i chose to pay a little more and purchase from an aus seller to avoid large OS shipping costs and delays, should i need to claim warranty. You can get the flux from merlin for $860. This http://www.wiggle.com.au/elite-qubo-wireless-digital-trainer… is the cheapest automated resistive trainer that links to Zwift etc. Shane miller rates it, but if you read online reviews, high tyre wear and high noise is a frequent complaint. Hope this helps
@nchc: Thanks, please let us know your feedback on the flux once you get a chance to setup and use it. I follow Shane on youtube too, given the issues he faced with Flux, I was reluctant to buy the unit.
Not technically a smart trainer, but have you thought of a powermeter and a regular trainer? Quarq's new dzero can be had for ~$700, chainrings and gxp bottom bracket approx $100, $200 for a fluid trainer (or magnetic of you prefer?) Doesn't adjust resistance automagically, but you can compare your FTP-epeen with your mates while on the road.
Cheaper at probikekit. $611.64 after using code itk10. $679.49-10%
Thanks for this! Saved me another $3 off my Basket (as oppose to the ATM10 just for selected accessories). Missed the VIP 14% recently and the BACKAU code doesn't seem to work
nice find, yeah this wiggle deal is pretty bad
Any chance you could help me find cheapest set of "mavic ksyrium elite wheelset" - cheapest I can find is $650 delivered from merlins
Shimano is launching a new Ultegra this year. That's the view of analysts covering the company. The exact model number could be either 6900 or 8000.
Its normally released the year after dura ace is updated. Hope those analysts arent getting paid
Well said mate, I haven't been paying attention to DA, the new ultegra is coming in 2018?
Ultegra should be here mid-late this year
9100 was announced and available in 2016 though so….
Is there anything around $200 mark? I need to resurrect an old road bike for occasional ride to the station but don't want to fork out a large sum of money.
Facebook groups are your best bet. Bicycle Market is one and buy/sell road cycling (you state), is another. Might get a used Tiagra or older 10 speed 105 for that money.
Cheers mate!
If you plan on climbing hills you dont want to get this.
You'll want a 11-32 cassette
What about for flat bar handle?
