In the market for a new phone and stumbled across this. On sale at the moment from aliexpress.com 26% off as an introductory offer, $109.99USD($146.32AUD) down from $148.64USD($197.74AUD), cashrewards.com.au lowers price even more. Seems too good to be true for a 6-inch screen and 3G RAM. Reviews seem to indicate the 720p screen is a little too stretched on the 6-inch screen and it would be nicer if it was 1080p. Also, cameras are below average with the rear having 13.0MP and front 5.0MP. CPU is an MTK6753 Octa Core with Android 7.0 Nougat as an OS. Network bands 1/3/7/8/20, does not have 28. Seems like some reasonable specs for the price but I dare say any issues with the phone would not be worth repairing due to original outlay.

I am tempted to gamble on this but a little turned off due to the possible 40-day delivery, still seems like the type of deal OzBargain would be interested in.

It's either this or the OPPO F1s from JB Hi-Fi for me.

Price looks good but how well will it perform. Better off putting more $$$$ and getting something decent like a zuk z2

    • Yeah, unknowns are a big issue, videos on youtube seem to show reasonable screen performance. I was hoping to not need a new phone until amazon came to Australia. Just thought I'd share.

I don't recommend this phone pete, 3G support is only half-arsed:
        WCDMA 900/2100 MHz

this means for Telstra users you will get less voice signals (since this phone does not do Voice over LTE, it falls back to 3G for voice comms).

        • I believe the providers are only offering VOLTE on the phones they sell and supply anyway, as it needs to be activated in their supplied ROM. The LG G4 has it, but as Telstra didn't sell that phone, I was unable to use it :-/

      • I hope the Oppo F1s is heaps cheap at JB Hi-Fi because this Oukitel is pretty good value

  • Has this got the play store app? How would I go about downloading diff appes?

    • I don't know never had an android phone…I thought the playstore just come with Android OS…I could be wrong.

  • Just Bought one for $144.60 and interested only because it's a new release (android 7.0) for a 6 inch phone below $150 .

MTK6753 processor is getting a little long in the tooth now. OK for light use but doesn't have much power at all.
720P Screen on a 6" Phone is also a bit of step back, but I think it's priced accordingly to match the specs.

If you are looking to Spend $320 at JB take a look at the Redmi Note 4X.

    http://www.banggood.com/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-4X-Fingerprint-5_5…

Runs a Snapdragon 625 which is a better spec processor than the MTK, has a 1080p screen but the standout feature is it's excellent battery life.

If you want a smaller size phone (which looks like you might not) the ZUK Z2 specs for the price can't be matched at the moment.

Tech tablets have a good review on the Redmi Note 4X if you want to look at it.

    • Ok cheers, I'll look into that thank you for the feedback…why are all the well-priced phones with good specs not available in store?

  • wow this is just crazy cheap. If it's serviceable, a steal, but seems like lots of unknowns. I'd also be a tad wary of spyware from an unknown manufacturer.

  • I bought the pptv King 7 for my parents. Best bang for the Bucks. But it's sold out everywhere. Paid $107 USD.

    • No complaints from your folks?
