What is F2f? Sorry s total noob in LEDs.
The title should say downlights. These are not normal LED bulbs.
Sorry, I meant E27 led bulb. My phone keyboard incorrectly made a correction
What is an E27 bulb? Sorry, total noob to LEDs
A screw in bulb for common light fittings. This is the 27mm size thread as opposed to E14 which is a 14mm thread screw in bulb.
Here's a picture to show the different types of bulbs: http://g-ec2.images-amazon.com/images/G/31/electronics/light…
@YellowKnight:
Edison Screw, as opposed to Bayonet Connection.
What's the ikea deal coming 31 March?
Edit - found it - but at 400 lumens - ewww…might as well get a torch out.
These MR16 lamps are narrow beam (probably about 24 degree)…FYI
Thanks for highlighting that.
I think I saw what you did there (?)
Spot-On 💡
Very bright 😏
36 degree, if I remember well
Depends on store - there are 4 packs that are 60 degrees. My local store also had a single mr16 master 4k 60d for $2!
Can we just plug these into traditional downlights?
I remember reading somewhere that LED needed some sort of different regulator or whatever box
I don't think so. Just directly connect to 220V 50Hz AC.
However I saw some kinds of down light that need regulator, eg low voltage (5V?) but high frequency (1000Hz or more). If that is the case, then you just need to remove such regulator. Both will retrofit to their respective sockets. Philips MR16 are pretty tolerant of the transformer they plug in to, so shouldn't flicker.
They have GU10 and MR16 types.
Anyone needs F2f LEDs should wait for IKEA deal which is coming on 31st March
