    Colonoscopy or normal sewage?

    • It is use for car maintenance or some maintenance working, not use for medical treatment. :P

      • +2

Maybe it should get another name, endoscope is a medical device for looking into a body…

I'm going to rename mine Lemmiwinks

Most of us wont be able to use this because our arse is too tight

Endoscopes are also used in rescue situations and military applications aren't they?

  • If anyone finds a video that is shot in darkness, post it up. I'm thinking might suit wall cavity inspection, plumbing inspections, etc.

What is the practical purpose of the WiFi part over a direct connection?

  • don't you need the app to watch the video?

can you direct connect this thing to an computer?

    • Users can download the APP by scanning the QR code in the manual or searching 'MOQO VIEW' in APP store.

This WiFi borescope inspection endoscope is not suitable for PC, only for iPhone or Android devices.

  • I've got something very similar (non wifi) from eBay a while back to run some ethernet cables. 2 big issues:
    1. The quality of the image is abysmal. The LEDs give about 10cm max of illumination so I got no idea where anything was.
    2. it is really thin so the wire is floppy. I had to reinforce it with some metal wire so it will hold it's shape.

Previously used a mate's SCA one that's ~$150 and it was infinitely better. Found the leak from a 2nd storey shower drain easily.

I guess depending on what your need, it might be good enough.

    • Better image quality, illumination, or both?

      • +1

both. the ebay one is not really usable. The only good use case i can think of is that if you have a really long drain and since it's really flexible, you can feed it through easily.

  • 5 questions:

    Battery life? This isn't mentioned!

Is the camera a USB camera internally?
While "pc is not supported" does the actual wifi unit allow you to connect to it like an IP camera and pull off the video feed? Such as 10.10.1.1/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi (This is the dealbreaker as many are locked out)
Can a version with "infinity focus" be ordered (will be blurry up close)

Any direct recorded videos of this in actual operation? Such as in a wall cavity and such.

It seems decennt bar the suggested 20 min battery life being rather short,
