Bonus 43" LG Full HD TV When You Pre-Order The LG G6 on Selected Telstra 24 Month Plans above $95/Month

130

Folks,

Order the LG G6 through Telstra and within ten days of doing so, submit a redemption for a free 43" LG 1080p Television.

Supposedly the television is worth $1099, so if you were to sell it, it could lessen the financial pain per month of being connected to Telstra.

Eligibility criteria:

Individual must purchase an LG G6 Smartphone on a 24 month $95 or above Telstra plan
during the promotional period, from a participating Australian Telstra retail outlet.

**Redemptions must be submitted within 10 days of purchase.

Promotion commences Wednesday 22nd March 2017 and ends Tuesday 9th May 2017.

Redeem here

I'm unsure if you'll lose the TV if you return the G6 for bootloop issues.

The Plan will also come with AFL or NRL or Netball live subscriptions.

They'll have to be paying me $95 to ever use an LG phone again. They can keep the tv and bootloop.

$2300 for a phone, 2 years acces, and a miniature TV. Where is the bargain?

    • It is if you were already wanting to go on a $95pm Telstra plan, I guess.

      Bargain for Telstra

I've said it before, I'll say it now and I'll most likely say it again:

Where's the rule stating that everything posted here has to be a bargain?

      • I think the name of this website might be a giveaway.

        • So in that case 80% of the deals here should be removed because most aren't bargains, right?

Telstra. The more it makes the big (profanity) it becomes

it could lessen the financial pain per month of being connected to Telstra.

What about the psychological, emotional and physiological pain?

Don't forget $150 cashback @ CashRewards as well

    • Eligibility criteria:

Individual must purchase an LG G6 Smartphone on a 24 month $95 or above Telstra plan
during the promotional period, from a participating Australian Telstra retail outlet.

      so not online?

CashRewards are a scam, when you first signup, they let you have some cash back, but after that it takes forever, and they keep on extending the cash back period until you forget.

      • Have you tried contacting them? They are very responsive. Ultimately if they really do that then they won't last long.

        • I have. 1st time they response. Said to wait. 2nd time no reply. 3rd time no go.

  • I wouldn't value the TV at $1099. The cheapest Samsung 55" 4K TV (which is larger and has 4K resolution) during a sale was $956. I would expect the normal price of a 43" LG 1080p TV to be much less.

    • not to mention that apart from their OLED TVs, LG consistnely scores towards the low end when it comes to picture quality even for their 4K HDR Tv's

I hope LG make cars because next time you buy their phone, they may give you a car.

    • on a $2000 plan per month?

  • I doubt anyone would jump at it unless it is in salary packaged.

I doubt anyone would jump at it unless it is in salary packaged.

LG G6 will be 300ish by the end of this year if history repeats itself.

  • Is it just me or is the bootloop issue way underrepresented on tech sites.

What happened after the Nexus 5? That was such a great device.

    • My g flex 2 went into bootloop last month. Never buying a lg phone cause that.

      • Mine too last week, very disappointed

        • it was beautiful phone, love that curve screen and all. but bootloop killed it in cold blood.

        • @tgame:

Do you still have it? Would need some parts

        • @dosada: I still have it. What is your offer?

        • @tgame:

$30? They can be bought a bit over $100 in working order

  • The wife's Nexus 5x died a month ago without warning… My dad's G4 also died earlier last year. Not buying LG phones again.

    • Damn, unlucky. Despite all the crap I read about overheating and screen cracking I'm still using my Xperia Z2 that's 2 years old next month. Cost me $400 during an eBay sale and it's the best phone I've ever had. Gonna upgrade battery soon as it's dying but I have to say it's been a blessing.

      • You do realise the Xperia is a Sony, not a lg phone?

  • Like the V20 and the G4 before that, the G6 will drastically drop in price in no-time. When this happens, I'm gonna jump on it like a fat kid love cake.

    • Why the G6 and not the S8?

      • +1

Because a lot of time will pass until the s8 will be a sticker cheap to have as the g6

  • The worst thing about LG G6 of telstra model (or optus model) is, it doesn't have any fancy feature that are in other countries. For example, no Quad DAC! Fk that, that's the only reason I'd buy a LG phone, but they decide not to have it in australian model because according to their own market survey they think Australian people don't care music quality. Also no wireless charging ability, which is provided in US version. Again, because they think Australian people loves wires. Plus, internal storage is 32 GB, where all other models in Asia are 64 GB. Their market strategy is so awesome that they've predicted that they can't sell shit here so they decide to sell shit.

    • Ugh. So disappointing.

      • Yeah, basically it's the worst G6 version. And given that it's still using Snapdragon 821 (not 825, the latest premium flagship chip), it's just meaningless to buy it.

        • The V30 would be the one to get (if you really wanted an LG)
