looks like there's a 10% cashreward prompt from the browser add on.

  • 1300 to have auto steam vent (and the other marketing fluff)… tempting!

Does anyone know how these compare to entry level Miele dishwashers?

I haven't used this particular model, but LG tends to be a "poor man's" premium brand. Top of the line performance and build quality for their price point, but usually a little more than other brands. Miele is more to show your friends you can afford Miele. They'll have the occasional breakthrough technology that puts them ahead until their rival's next product refresh cycle where they catch up at which point you're just paying 1.5-3x as much for the brand.

But, both brands have terrible consumer reviews for how they handle faults.

I found LG customer service to be fantastic.

I had no issue with their customer service when they sent me a new wire rack, free of charge when there is rust developing on it.

MY 8y.o. LG dishwasher still runs beautifully, the only issue I have is rust developing on the wire rack.

      • can confirm this is super annoying. the replacements cost almost the same as a new dishwasher as well. will be going back to bosch soon due to this

        • Suggest contacting them, they may (in my case ) sent me a new one free of charge but also stating its a one off

  • $1,124.26 for ppl who have VIP access.

  • We have one of those quad wash dishwashers. Cleaning is okay, cutlery at times does no clean properly.

But worst part is, we are at our second top spray arm, as the first one bend up and was scraping the top basket. That was after 3 years.

No 2 years later the arm looks like it needs replacing again.
The bottom arm is now also loosing the wiggly arm bits, have order a replacement spray arm 🙄

    • Only issue with ours was the bottom drawer is a pain to push in and can go off the guides.

  • have previous one from 4 years and works like charm

our LG XD3A25PS died after 2.5yrs. we had continuous BE1 (bubble errors) after 1yr. They blamed us "not rinsing your dishes" (we're on septic and everything was rinsed), wrong detergent (Aldi, fairy & Finish powerball made no difference). Everytime they said pit a bowl of fat milk in the glass draw & run it on quick cyxle. after 2.5yr & 10 complaints it stopped working (continuous be1 error), they said it's probably a pump, which will will $700+ to replace.

I bought a Beko.with a 5yr wty for $675. it has the Open Door To Dry when finished & no issues after 6mths.

    • Aren't the XD3A25PS also have auto open?…..

  • what's the best i can go for in 45cm dishwasher dimension.

    • This(amazon.com.au) is the closest match I could find it's 45.7cm so just over.

Further to my post earlier, the heating element has died 3 weeks ago, with the dishwasher being just over 5 years, LG does not want to know about it and gave me the run around, pretty disappointed for such a "high quality" brand and needed to repair myself ($450) or buy a new one considering I would not have a clue if the heating element is the end of it.
